awesome flour
Glad you offer this flour on Amazon. Can't hardly find anything close to it in the grocery store! Nice fine grind. Great added flavor to my rye bread baking. Gives the loaf more of the European/German style flavor and texture. Awesome compliment to the caraway and fennel seeds I always use.

Good quality
I am watching my intake of high glycemic foods as they have started to impact my blood sugar levels. I bought this wholegrain barley because I do like to treat myself to a sugar free pastry on a Sunday. So far, I am quite pleased with it. I urge the manufacturer to please keep the product the same and also affordable as many of us struggle with rising prices of food. Again, so far I really like this flour.

Great gluten-free flour!
I use this to substitute half the amount of all-purpose flour when making Smitten Kitchen's (Deb Perlman) Summer Strawberry Cake. The barley flour gives a nice texture and nutty flavor... makes a better tasting cake.

Great flour with great flavor 👌
It's so hard to find a reputable grain seller online, harder still to find barley flour. This is my first time using barley flour, I wanted to try making first century barley and wheat bread from a historical cookbook. It's now my favorite bread, and super filling too!This flour arrived timely, looked clean, was ground to the perfect consistency for baking, rose well, and had a great flavor. Also the price for 4 pounds was not bad at all! I will buy again!

Made good bread
It made nice home made bread when I mixed 3 parts white bread flour to 1 of barley. My first time using this, thus I do not know how well it will work in other recipes. Nice flavor, one I prefer over whole wheat.

Possible to make tsampa
Traditionally, barley grains are toasted and then milled to make tsampa. For a much quicker alternative, I toasted this flour on a cast iron skillet, stirring often, until it reaches a light brown color and had a fragrant aroma. It might not be authentic, but it's as close as you can easily get to the real deal. So far I've used it to make a porridge by stirring the flour with butter over medium heat, adding tea, and then adding a splash of milk. You can add sugar or honey to this, but I prefer it as-is or lightly salted.

Barley flour!
I used this to make a quiche that formed its own crust. The recipe called for barley flour and I didn’t want to change a recipe my first time trying it. The quiche was perfect and my guests were impressed.
