I keep this next to my cutting mat and use it for all of my quilting ironing except large finished quilt tops. I've found that the mat makes a real difference when ironing blocks as well as fabric prior to cutting. Would highly recommend.

Wow, I was really impressed with this mat, ive seen all the hype so thought I would treat myself.I was not disappointed. I use it with a mini iron and it presses seams to perfection.

I usually use an ironing cloth but decided that as I was pressing cotton it would be fine, wrong the mat melted onto my iron

Ironing board, for small prodjets

this smaller pad was used to complete a 6' ironing surface for quilt backings as I load them on a quilting frame. It is one half inch thick and appears to be 100% wool (ad says it is.) I would certainly buy again. The included tool bag was not of interest to me, but my wife has taken it too use, bag is ~1/4" wool material with a good zipper.

I use with steam then stand to make sure i dries thoroughly. No issues, good ironing board size.
