These buttons are big, sturdy and really beautiful. I would have rated 5 stars except that I noticed some of them aren't printed very well and the ones that were began to rub ink off on my fingers as I was sewing them on to my crochet pieces.

More beautiful than expected.

I noticed most of the One Star reviews commented negatively on the size of these buttons. (being too big)They are 6cm diameter, which is about 2-3/8 inches in American. These were exactly the size I needed for a craft project. (Perhaps the seller should say 60mm instead of 6cm?)They were also a good price. I had been paying $3-4 each for buttons this size in a retail fabric store whose name rhymes with "snow man."Some reviewers complained that the buttons were broken, or the design paint was chipped off or smeared. I did not have this problem. My buttons were all in good shape.Other reviewers complained about a smell when they first opened the package. The buttons are made of resin, so there is a slight plastic like aroma, but not as bad as a lot of people described it, and it dissipates when the buttons are exposed to the air.So, if you need a large button, these are your huckleberry.

The first thing I noticed was a very strong chemical smell when I opened the packages. This mostly dissipated after about 40 minutes in the air. There was no residual transfer of odor to my hands from handling them. I then bagged several of them in a plastic zip lock over night to see if the smell would get strong again. It didn’t but there is a very faint odor of chemical that has remained. The varnish maybe? These buttons are 2 and 7/16 inches across, 1/8 inch thick, very smooth feeling and flat on the back. The designs are painted on and can be scratched off with a fingernail. One button has a chink out of the wood but that is not uncommon in sets of wooden buttons. The designs are pretty. They can be used in a variety of crafts and others have posted pictures. I would use one on the front of a handmade bag or to embellish a hat or headband or shawl. Worth the price.

Just beautiful! Vibrant colors. Material is sturdy and the finished is elegant. Definitely recommend! The perfect button for my scarf. The final touch! Absolutely loved them!

Beautiful buttons. I bought them because I read the item description and knew they would be big and work for what I needed them for. Smell is terrible. I set them out overnight, but they still smell faintly of vinegar or whatever chemical is used on these things. The bag that came with it also smells. I still want to use the buttons so I will try a few things to get rid of the smell.

The only problem I encountered is some of the holes were not completely open on a few buttons and I could not use them. I was lucky that I ordered more than I needed. I used the buttons to sew onto headbands for nurses to use to keep elastic from wearing masks off their ears. Perfect size for this.

used three of them on this cowl and they were the perfect size! They look small online, but when i saw they were 50mm, i knew they would work for this! My only worry is that the paint will fade or wash off if a customer puts it in the wash. They also had a bit of a funny smell coming out of the bag? Not awful, but maybe let them air out a bit before you go and sell your finished project. You get two of each button style which is pretty nice.

Good quality but beware that the colour is not the same brown as on the photo. It’s more red/orange. Can’t return to find the right color because I needed them right away.

The only reason I’m giving 3 stars as that there were a few buttons that were not whole. Some pieces were broken off the backs. It wasn’t done in shipping as they were all the same colour of stain.

Product is as shown. Arrived earlier than stated. Excellent quality. Would enhance any project.

The buttons are nice but not the colour shown. They are a deep red brown, stained not the natural wood as shown in the photos.
