Yes it stinks to high heaven, but I'm using it outside to protect a garden hose on a concrete walkway. I move heavy carts and wheelbarrows over it with no problems. No need to buy the taller version. It easily fits a garden hose inside with room to spare.

Placed this product on a high traffic area. Easy to install, size is perfect. The only thing to be aware is that it is quite heavy. It will withstand heavy objects and the yellow cover makes it stand out for safety.

I've got our new EVSE (charger) mounted in the garage but currently am unable to get a vehicle into the garage. I needed something to protect the cable and help avoid tripping when stringing it across the sidewalk. I looked at lots of these, and while this one was a bit more expensive than others, it seemed to have great reviews and had the flip top.When I got it, I couldn't believe how heavy it was. It is incredibly sturdy, and while we won't have vehicles driving over it, we could. The channel and hinged lid setup makes it very easy to lay the cord and remove it, as we don't leave it out all the time. I can just set the ramp on the sidewalk and drop the cable into the channel.I thought 40" would be enough, but it does still leave more cable exposed than I would like. I'm thinking of getting a second, just to make sure that we don't have people riding bikes across or stepping on the cable.

I don't regret purchasing these because they work but what I don't like is the locking features that lock them together often come loose and I often have to put them back together. Also my drive way is gravel and is on a very light hill, it's fairly flat, but after driving over them each day they kind of slide down the hill. After a few weeks, they will have moved about 2 ft. They do have holes if I wanted to use dowel rods but I need to remove them over the winter so I will just deal with them sliding and coming apart rather than having to pull dowel rods out. The good thing about them is they handle my Silverado just fine as far as running over them and not crushing my water hose. I do think the cost is too high for what you're getting.

I was surprised to find such a wonderful product well made easy to use. I got it to protect my water hose that I have to leave in place for my flower garden because it is on a timer twice a day. Wish I had seen this product earlier it saved me a lot of work.

It covered a hose to our condominium pool so no one would trip over the hose. It fit well and does what it is designed to fo.
