Gilden18-28mm Gents Thick and Heavy Sport Calfskin Leather Watch Strap TS62

I searched widely for a good thick wide leather band. And I found it here. Definitely not PU leather this is made by real world craftsman very thick very styling and exactly what I was looking for for my Galaxy Watch 6. This would work on any watch, but I really wanted a rugged classy leather watch band for my expensive smartwatch. I love the watch, but I really didn't want to plastic or silicone wristband which is just ridiculous when you spend $500 on a smartwatch.These leather watch bands are thick as well as wide in their dimensions. Make sure you get exactly what you want for the buckle. The buckle is a little bit flashy and a little bit large for its size. I picked the gold not because I wanted fake gold but because it looked like brass and reminded me of old world leather working with brass buckles. Not too flashy but very beefy and rugged looking for my strong male wrist.This is a very good and well crafted piece of leather artwork and I can't believe how inexpensive this actually is. Unfortunately, I get more comments and compliments on my watch band than I do my watch. That definitely makes me laugh!

Replaced the original silicone band on an Invicta with the brown leather/stainless strap. More comfortable and upscale look. Both the strap and included pins look to be good quality. Would order again.

I am a purchasing consumer reviewing a product I 100% paid for.I am a watch collector with over 30 watches. I like to swap and change straps on many of my watches. I bought the 26mm black with brushed silver buckle. It fits my "MM sub homage" great, no issues at all. Stitching, overall construction, fit and finish is perfect. The two strap keepers are nice and snug, not too loose. The spring bar ends are fully 5mm thick and they seem to fill out the strap lug gaps better than my other straps. Buckle is really well made, thick, heavy and nicely brushed. The 26mm spring bars are well made too, although I don't need them... I have extras.

The strap seems solid but the loops are paper thin. I replaced the invictas excursion 18202 model and it fits perfectly.

This strap is a snug fit on my watch. The end lugs of my watch are short so there wasn't much room between the watch and the spring bars to install the strap. I replaced the 2mm spring bars with 1.5mm spring bars to make it fit. I will be putting some 1.8mm curved spring bars on soon. The leather is flexible enough to accommodate curved spring bars.I installed this strap on a watch with a lug to lug distance of 47mm. It wears at the 2nd to last hole on my 7.5 inch wrist. Worn this way the tip protrudes just past the fixed loop. I may remove the free loop. Its not necessary with my wrist size. Depending on the watch size someone could wear this strap with an approximate 8 inch wrist maximum.This strap is very comfortable to wear. It is 4.5mm thick but is supple and flexible. After one day it is beginning to take a curved shape. I think it looks fantastic on my flight watch. I think it would look good on a field watch as well. The thick tan leather and pronounced stitching give it a rugged look. Any scuffs it picks up will just add character. The buckle is quite large but it looks OK as well. It fits with the style of the watch. For under $30 this is a good looking, comfortable strap. I'm very happy with it and it will be the only strap I use until I get a NATO and a steel bracelet.

Worn day in and day out for months now. It's doing great. The leather is really thick, so I had to mash on it hard to get the pin to seat. I was worried that it wouldn't hold, but once I got it on there, it hasn't been a problem at all. Great value.

I am more than happy with my purchase of 2 Gilden watchbands, I'm totally thrilled. Photo attached, and I switched one of the strap holders around to the single threaded side, and it looks great! Also, I have tried to match more than a few watchbands to each of these watches however, I just couldn't settle for them, they just didn't look right! I'm getting compliments almost every time I where one of these 2 watches and, a few people have said that they couldn't believe these bands didn't come with the watch! Also, one of the watches photo'd is a $45.00 Casio and people cannot believe it's not a more expensive watch! In closing I just want to add that the break in period was almost non existent and they are incredibly comfortable to wear for long periods of time!4/25/21 Just purchased my 3rd Gilden strap, for a watch which will be delivered tomorrow, 24mm band received Friday, same as the ones purchased for my other 2 watches, can't wait to put it on, when it arrives! This strap is very thick heavy leather. Can’t call it supple, and it’s not very flexible. The strap seems well made, but looks wrong on any watch I’ve fitted it on. Too thick. It it better suited as a chew stick for my pit bulls rather than a watch strap. Fail.

The media could not be loaded. It’s actually my second strap and it looks amazing with my new apple watch Ultra.
