Works perfectlyy in my Keurig Vue K-400 Coffee Maker
We have a Kuerig 2, K-400 coffee maker that we have had for several years. We have always used the Keurig pods in the maker and keep a stock of pods so we don't run out. The pods are kind of expensive and even if you buy direct from Keurig and use their discount, they can still cost you about 50-cents/cup. Some of the pod coffee tastes pretty good, and some is just so, so. We have coffee for breakfast every morning and also later at night. And when friends come over, we use a Keurig Carafe pod and make a carafe so we can serve several people.Recently, we were at Disney World for the Epcot Food and Wine Festival and Joffrey's Coffee had a booth set up demonstrating how to use their coffee beans in a grinder and then in a french press. We got to taste the french press coffee and found it way better than most coffee you perk or use a k-cup to make. So, we bought several bags of Joffrey's coffee, and when we got home, we bought a grinder and a french press and started to make our coffee from fresh whole beans. One negative of using the grinder and french press is that it makes a mess to clean up. Plus, our Keurig was just sitting there doing nothing. So, I looked around for a refillable pod that I could use with the Keurig when we wanted to make a quicker cup of coffee and not get out the French press, wait around for the coffee to steep, pour the coffee, and then clean the device. Keurig sells one that is similar but they want $14.95 for one. This looked like a good buy - 2 for a less price than the 1 that Keurig sells. So, I took a chance and ordered this. The wife and I have 14-oz. coffee cups. This is advertised as handling a whole carafe. But we wanted to use it for mainly making a 14-oz cup of coffee when one of us wanted a quick cup of coffee. So, I gave this a try by grinding some beans, enough to fill this pod about 3/4 full, closed its lid and popped it in the Keurig. It fit perfectly and allowed me to close the Keurig pot lid over the pod and the Keurig menu popped up giving me the choice to fill different sized containers. I picked #2 which then gave me the result that it would fill a 14-oz cup! Perfect! And it worked great! The Keurig has an option to brew a stronger brew with this setting. I have tried both settings and both make a great brew. Almost hard to tell the difference between this and the French press. So, if you like a stronger brew, the Keurig gives you the option. We have also filled the reusable pod to the top and it brewed a fine stronger 14-oz cup of coffee with no problems. When I compare the Keurig Vue Carafe pod with this reusable pod, they look like they hold the identical amount of coffee. So, if you need a carafe, just fill this reusable pod to the top with coffee, and when the Keurig asks what size coffee you want, pick one of the other numbers that make more coffee at one time and put the Keurig Carafe under the kuerig spout to fill your carafe appropriately. We use this mainly to make individual 14-oz cups of coffee, but it does work to make a carafe. Just pick the strong option for whatever number you pick for pot size for your carafe or it might come out a little weaker than you want. It is all a matter of how weak or strong you like your coffee versus how much ground coffee you put in the pod and what setting you use. Experiment a little to find all the settings you like. Bottom line is that this works perfectly with our K-400 pot giving us lots more options for using coffee not sold by Keurig and saving us money in the long run.

Great! Can fill enough grounds to make 16 oz strong coffee
Glad I could find this. It works well with my keurig 2.0 that has a sensor in order to work. (The one that has a carafe too).I add 3 coffee scoops to it - filled to top- and it makes a robust big cup of coffee.

Works great with a very minor issues
I like the fact that I am no longer constantly throwing away little plastic containers. Not a huge environmental guy, but every bit helps I suppose. Because I don't have to buy the cups, I've found that it's WAY cheaper to make my morning cup(s) of coffee. A big container of coffee is usually less than ten dollars and I get many more brews per dollar versus buying the same number of cups. Keep in mind, I generally have 1-2 cups each weekday and perhaps one or two more on the weekends or I'll just brew a carafe. The savings alone is enough to sell me on these filters. Now the details. You will have to experiment to find what amount of coffee works best for your taste. I will generally fill the filter up to the top of the screen for my first 12 oz. cup using the strong setting. Then when I leave for work, I add to the same filter without emptying it, I pack down the grounds with a spoon and fill about an 1/8" below the top of the filter and brew a 16 oz. cup on the strong setting. I have emptied it and filled it with fresh grounds and the difference is negligible. So, less grounds per cup overall. The things I don't like. Just a little, but nothing is perfect.First, it is a bit of a pain to clean out all the grounds after brewing. I remove the top of the filter, it comes off very easy and tap the filter against the side of my kitchen trash can or my hand and most of the grounds fall out. I do the same with the lid. Then I set it on the counter to dry until the next morning. I repeat the process and brew my next days coffee. Unsanitary? EH... I don't really think so, it is just dried coffee grounds. I will usually wash them out on Saturday morning before I brew. This is where it gets a little bit tough, but not too bad. Trying to rinse all of the grounds can be difficult sometimes because the water flows through the filter. I will curl my hand around the outside to seal the screen off and let it fill and rinse several times. The lid rinses off easily. I will use dish soap on occasion when they are looking a little stained. The lid pops off easily, good and bad. Easy to remove to clean, but be careful when you are tapping out the grounds or your lid may end up in the trash. Not a huge deal after you realize it and are more careful. Also concerning the lid, if you fill the filter with grounds all the way to the top, the lid will pop off when you close it. Thus the reason why I stay about an 1/8" below the top with the level of grounds.Concerning paper filters... I purchased a package of 100 filters to use based on another review. Okay, they make cleaning easier, but there is no difference in taste, the only thing is, without them, there may be some minuscule dark coffee in the bottom of the cup. Doesn't change taste and is not gritty, just darker coffee. I use cream, so I can see it. The lids fit a little tight with the filters too, good/bad, your call. I just thing it's one more step to make my morning cup while in a sleepy haze that I don't care to take.Would I buy them again, definitely. Are the tiny issues enough to make me try a different filter? Not at all. I may if these start to fail in some way, which I doubt, but they work, I have two of them and they will probably outlast my Keurig.Bottom line, they are inexpensive, they save you a lot of money on coffee , the waste is just coffee grounds and you don't have a bunch of little cups around. Oh and an extra caveat, the plastic coffee ground containers have tight fitting lids and are handy to store stuff in out in the garage.Cheers!

YAHOO
SO very happy to get these pods to use with our Keurig carafe. They work tremendously and makes our carafe a USEFUL part of our morning routine now. The Keurig website doesn't even sell them, which bothers me that they don't continue to support their product.

DOES NOT WORK WITH KEURIG 2.0 SYSTEM
This pod which is described to work with Keurig 2.0 system without any hacks, does not work! The machine displays "oops, this pod was not designed for this brewer, please try one of ...Keurig's own pods". Luckily I have a Prime membership and can return it hassle free.
