i like the look, but not sure how well it will actually protect my phone. i'm used to one with a little more bulk and padding and this is just a plastic shell that snaps around it. i'm afraid if and when i do drop it, it will crack. crossing my fingers i don't! but it's very visually appealing.

These are good looking cases that ACTUALLY protects your phone. I have bought three of them over the past year or so. The first two saved my phone in a couple (different occasions) of very hard falls on concrete floors. The cases cracked but the phone was completely free of any damage. The cases do not break just on any fall; they take normal drops without damage but in the case of a hard one they absorb the impact instead of the phone. This is important. If you want a case that would survive any impact AND protect your phone, you are looking at a large and bulky case. These hardly add any bulk to the phone. All and all a nice balance of functionality and good looks.
