Voice into Acting: Integrating voice and the Stanislavski approach (Performance Books) Illustrated Edition

Great book with solid advice.

I actually trained under Christina and John at East15 Acting School back in 2002/3. This book is pretty much a summation of that training and a valuable resource for any actor or drama student who wants to explore how much work actually goes into great performance.

This is certainly one of the best voice books I have come across in decades. Written by two extremely experienced teachers of voice (Christina Gutekunst) and acting technique (John Gillett) making the book a must for anyone aiming to be an actor, working as an actor or director or indeed teaching either of these skills. The book takes the reader on a journey whilst building it's relationship between voice and the Stanislavski approach to acting. I think that this book has been long awaited for and having read it would say that if you get your own copy it would surely have a positive impact on your voice and acting work as well.
