MerrellMen's J17199w Moccasin

These are exactly like my old Merrill Jungle Mocs which served me for multiple years. They are comfortable, easy to slip on and make walking a joy.Great construction and comfort.

Comfortable and tough describes this footwear. This is my second pair so I am a return customer. Had a hard time disposing of the first pair but I wore them out.

These shoes look nice, they are leather slip on style.They ALMOST look like dress shoes, especially if you don't notice the AWESOME Vibram sole and traction / tread on the bottom.But unlike dress shoes, they are actually super comfortable. I replace the insoles with "Superfeet" (green), and they have absolute top-notch support, almost like they are made by a company that makes high-quality hiking boots (well, they are!) rather than fashion-forward uncomfortable and unstable pieces of leather that people strap to their feet ("dress shoes")Def recommended. These things are the exact opposite of shoes that hurt your feet.

This is my 4th pair in 10 years (2-3x week wearing). They fit well and offer support. They are water resistant (NOT waterproof).Low maintenance. I clean them with a damp rag, maybe buff with a shoeshine brush.Not crazy about the rear pull-up loop - it interferes with bottom of my slacks. Some models have them, some don’t.Merrell changes factories and comes out will odd models and dumps them here…beware when shopping.

I buy a new pair of these Merrells whenever my existing pair wears out, and since the last time I bought them was in 2019, that gives an idea of how well they put up with the gaff of everyday use with a fellow who aims for 10 miles of walking per day.They don't quite "slip on," but only a little squirming is needed after an initial break-in period. That's fine, because much more important is that they are secure, supportive, and comfortable from start to finish, and the moccasin design allows me to surreptitiously slip them off while at my desk.A fitting note: I wear an 11 1/2 M, and in my experience, these are true-to-size. I like not having to guess about how far to bias the fit when ordering shoes.

Getting Merrell Moccasin shoes for half the original price through Amazon was great. I've had four pair over the past 12 years, both black and dark brown, and these can be worn with dress clothes or jeans. They have awesome arch support and the leather shell wears great and is super soft.

Great shoe. Comfortable and well made

I only wear Merrel's now, because they are simply the best shoe ever. I prefer them to my Reeboks that I have to wear for tennis to avoid "Why are you playing in Merrell's?" I bought these shiny black ones to wear as "dress shoes", and they totally pull it off. Super comfortable for hours on end and really nice looking.

I have been loyal to Merrell brand over 25 years now, my first pair lasted 10 years and I couldnt be more satisfied. My second pair however started having issues just 1 month after purchase, but I couldnt make a claim, and continued wearing them as-is. 3 years later, I really needed a new pair, and decided, I would go for buying shoes online for the first time ever. Its difficult for me to buy shoes online, because I really need to try them on. The first pair, I had to return due to misfit. But the second pair, perfect fit and I am most satisfied with them, no issues whatsoever. I need a good quality, reliable, comfortable shoes for work and daily use, and these fulfill 1000 %Thank you.

Some friction on right foot, right side near at top which makes shoe somewhat uncomfortable after wearing for about half an hour. May ease with time. Use mostly for gardening.
