Watchdog Sump Pump
This pump is more quiet than previous pumps I have used. It has an adjustable float for when it goes on which makes it great for my application.

Looking for a really small footprint? This is the sump pump for you!
Why is it so hard to find a pump that fits into a tight sump? I almost busted out the sump area I poured because I couldn't find a pump small enough. I'm not going to reiterate the specs, but this will work automatically in a sump the size of one of those little square buckets like the kind pool chlorine tablets come in. Also my sump is pretty shallow. . .about 6 inches deep, but it's enough to activate and deactivate the pump. Oh, it pumps a lot of water fast too. I guess that is an important little detail

Had one with a float that keeps getting hung up. This one goes straight up and down so no issues with it being stuck on.

Does NOT come with the vertical
Doesn't come with any adapter or vertical riser, even though it is shown.I have counted on Watchdog for years with the battery backup system. Now I am going to go for a 2 pump system so I bought the 1/2hp pump as my main. The exit hole is 1 1/2npt not 1 1/4npt like the battery unit.I hope it is as dependable as the battery run unit.More later after the next flood.
