For reference I have black textured curly hair that I usually wear blown out, this wax stick is perfect! This adds shine, keeps my hair soft, holds my hair in place and lasts the entire day. First day using it I worked all day and had no flyaways or frizz. It’s so easy to use, I like to use a spoolie/wand to push the strays back and then I go over them with the wax and use an edge brush to smooth and swoop to my liking. This is the perfect sleek slick back product. I can’t speak to other hair types but my hair doesn’t get greasy but does get dry, this doesn’t dry my scalp out like gels or cause flakes. If you have thin or straight hair I can see this making your hair greasy. Highly recommend!

I was sick of seeing videos of girls using these super easy sticks to slick back their hair when I was struggling with hairspray and gel that made my hair look nasty, flaked, and always dropped my bangs down half through the day. LET ME TELL YOU. this product is a chefs kiss type of product. it took me maximum 4 minutes to get my hair presentable and cute the first time i used it. Gave me a slick back of the gods! and then, i fall asleep, wake up, and was able to quickly slick my hair back SO CUTE in the morning, without using any extra product and without it looking dirty/greasy/flakey. I have always wanted to try the slick back low bun hairstyle, and this helped big time. It was so easy to use too. For context, I have asian straight hair and it is difficult to even hold a curl.I used a fine tooth comb, and while I was sliding the comb through my hair, I slid the stick back the same way. it was so quick and easy-- I was shocked. I made sure to run the stick and comb through my hair at least twice and it stuck.Absolutely no frizz. It wasn't heavy on my hair because I only put it on twice. It stayed in place all day at work + transportation (10+ hours). The stick is wide so it grabs a lot of hair. My hair wasn't crunchy like a gel would do. It was semi soft and semi flexible while holding shape. No loose strands.Also, you need to have a shampoo that is ready to tackle the wax. I tried regular shampoo and you actually need an 'oil' based shampoo to get the wax off.

If you are looking for the best slick back bun or pony, buy this product! It is so easy to use, the product on your hair looks amazing. It does go on clear so it is easy to blend in with any hair color. It works so amazing. The packaging is great where the stick will not dry out. Would give 10 stars.

This wax stick holds down hair well without making it look like there’s a lot of product. However, I really dislike the push-from-the-bottom design. My thumb doesn’t reach easily, and the stick slides back in while I’m applying it. It gets frustrating to use after a while.

It's my first time using this to tie my hair up. I love it. It leaves your hair shiny and soft, and most importantly, your hair is held in place. 🥰
