I also got a wall mount and it looks great on the wall with or without the sheath. Kids love it.Note that its very heavy and definitely not for swinging around. Aside form being heavy, its not well weighted.It had a few imperfections, but they don't bother me. Generally feels to be a good quality decoration.I don't see a way to put it on a belt, so I am not sure how this would work as part of a costume, but that was not my intent.Also there is a lot of friction resistance when you pull it out of the sheath. takes a lot of force to pull it out. If you want to whip it out, you might be disappointed.

I've never left a review, but I love this sword so much. It arrived on time, but when I opened it (maybe this was me being overzealous, but I when I cut the tape on the box using scissors I cut into the sheath a little (not pictured), so just know there's no packaging besides plastic to protect the top of the product inside the box and don't make my mistake) I noticed there was some sort of damage on the pommel (pictured). I'm not sure what it was, maybe it could've been removed with alcohol or something, but I emailed the company anyway asking about it. They responded the same day, apologized, and sent a replacement sword. The replacement arrived the day they said it would and even included a wooden wall plaque to mount it on the wall!Overall, I'm very happy with this thing. I wouldn't use it in battle, but for $60 I wasn't expecting to. I wanted a beautiful sword that I could swing around when I was bored at home and hang on my wall the rest of the time without feeling like I was wasting a bunch of money like I would've with a $200+ Damascus steel sword, and this fits the bill. I can't recommend this sword enough!

It’s certainly a magnificent looking decorative sword with reference to a key person in history. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the pommel is crooked by about 5 degrees :/ and this is very noticeable when displayed in my floor stand.

For the price....wow. Very well made and my kid was super happy. The sheath is even top notch. Would recommend.

Exactly what I was looking for, blade was a bit dirty on arrival but was easily cleaned.

8/25に注文して 9/16無事到着。まずは不満点をいくつか・ポンメルが微妙に斜めになっている。・グリップの黒色部分(ゴム製)にバリが残っている。・ブレードの紋様は彫刻ではなくペイントで所々かすれている。・全体的にスレ、小傷がある(新品でも)。総じて、作りが雑と言うか大雑把であるが、これは某デNIX製をはじめとして、外国製模造西洋剣にはよくある事なので目をつぶろう。それと特徴的なのがこれ、鞘から抜く時ものっ凄く力が必要だった。思わず持ち方変える位。どういう事かというと、鞘の内部に 板バネか、あるいはクッション的な物が取り付けてある様で(真相はもう分解しないとわからん)ブレードを挟んで固定するための構造で、当然、鞘が不用意に抜けない、落ちない様にする為なのはわかるがちょっとその効果が強すぎで、居合い風に素早く抜剣！ とか鞘鳴りを堪能したい！ とかは、不可能なレベルである。あとは、このブレード横に振ると少々、曲がるというか しなる。まあこの長さなら、仕方ないという事か。さて、ここからは良かった点何よりもその造形。地味過ぎず派手過ぎず、例えば 剣と魔法のファンタジー映画やRPGにそのまま出てきも違和感無いような。特にガードのデザインが好みで、ずっとこんなのが欲しかった。黒と銀色なのがまた良い。現物を手にするまで不安だったが、ちゃんと商品画像と同じ物が届いたのでそちらを参考にすると良くわかる。細かい所は不満点で述べたが、造りその物はしっかりしていてブレードは 真っ直ぐで曲がりも歪みも無くヒルト部で変なガタつきも無しで素振りしても大丈夫そう(おすすめはしない。あくまで観賞用)。あと重さ。届いた時、段ボールの箱入りで持ち上げると予想より軽く感じて、これはハズレだったか？ と思ったがそれは持ちやすい四角い箱を両手で持っていたから。箱から出して、鞘をはらって(なかなか抜けない)構えてみれば右手に確かな重量感！これ片手で持つ武器じゃない、絶対両手剣！両手持ちで 程良い重さも、個人的にプラスポイント。レプリカ西洋剣は、某DEニックス他いくつか所持しているもののそのほとんどが、ここはもっとこう、何かコレジャナイ…と、なかなか満足する物がなく次々と買い揃えても満たされなかったが、この剣は久々に(後述するもうひとつの重要なポイントも含め)良い買い物をしたと思える品だった。まあ、ちょっと誉め過ぎかとは思うがお値段もお手頃だしね！で、その重要なポイント。多分このレビュー読んでくれてて、あの事について言及してない、あれはどうなのか知りたいという方々がいると思うので(いるよね !?)それについて。商品説明にある記述。「バルドは440ステンレススチールでできています。」バルドは多分ブレードの事か440ステンレススチールは、包丁やナイフで多用される鋼材だそうで。だから、この記述通りならブレードに磁石くっつきます。大丈夫、家に磁石無かったので 100均 で買っておきちゃんと確認した。ブレードに磁石くっつきました！すげえ、マジか…。まあ、この件がさほど重要と思ってない人にはどうでもいい事だろうし、ステンレスブレードの模造西洋剣も探せば結構出回ってるけどね。はい、ということでこのレビューが少しでも、皆様のご購入の判断のたしになればこれ幸い。長文最後までのおつきあい、ありがとうございました。
