I have berber carpet in my basement (very low pile). I needed to cover up the cord to a new treadmill that was a total trip-hazard. I bought gaffer's tape and went after it. Within a few days, the tape just wasn't holding, and the cord (thick and twisty) was stronger than the tape's adhesive.Enter this cable cover. Took a chance that it would stick to my carpet and it does... like velcro (which, of course, it is!). Weeks later, the cord is still snugly held in place and will trip nary an unsuspecting person.If you have the correct kind of carpet, this stuff will work. If you have a thick pile carpet, I can see how this just can't stick. Before you buy, just test your carpet with anything velcro that you have around the house. With the right carpeting, this is a great product!

This item takes the place of gaffers tape or blue painter tape as a way to prevent tripping and to protect the cord.Great Idea and works Perfect. Only issue is watch out when you go to pull these up. On Industrial carpet squares the Velcro is so strong it will try to pull the tile up with it. "Time to put your foot down" on the tile before you pull it up the cord protector. It's well made and Works Great. I Found this item looking for cord covers and so it has been a total upgrade from previous methods. I think it actually is safer than any tape. So if you have the short pile commercial carpet (tiles or roll) Give them a try.

Great quality product, Durable cord holder, blended write in with the carpet so served it purpose real well and also helped in concealing the cord nicely for our inspection which we passed. So recommended.

I should have listened to the reviews. Doesn’t stick to carpet very well. I’m still going to have to put some gaff tape down so I don’t trip. I was hoping my carpet would be different from the reviews stating it doesn’t stick. But I’m not lucky. I guess I could buy some better Velcro but the whole point was to buy this and it work. Basically, don’t waste your money.

We have a carpeted stage and I have multiple cables to run in my setup. This is such a simple, easy to use product that helps me get rid of trip hazards and really clean up the look. I attached a pic of my testing it. I'm going to use it to clean up all the remaining cable runs on the back of the stage. What a great idea! It's completely reusable and doesn't have any sticky residue like gaffer tape.

It probably works great on recommended carpet types, but I didn’t pay attention. It does not work AT ALL on the types of carpet you find in a typical house, and it very plainly explains that up front.So, I rate it highly for packaging, product quality, and truth in advertising. I’ll hold on to it, might have the right carpet or area rug in the future, and I think it would be useful.

What a simple idea and great product. Using on my patio to prevent tripping over tv cables, computer cables etc. Also covers gaps on my concrete patio between carpet spacing gaps..If you have outdoor carpet this is for you!. The Velcro makes it sooooo easy with the flexibility to move wherever needed and remove if not needed. As the manufactured says it’s “not for household carpet” but definitely works as intended. My lady is so impressed she is ordering some for her tech team to use and replace those hard covers. Wheels roll over these soft covers so much easier

Secure cords securely to carpet during meetings. Reduces triping hazards. Bright yellow stripe ads warning to exterior. Easy to put down easy to pull up. It is a soft cover not meant for heavy traffic. It can be cut to size if needed. Works well.
