Basekt are too big for skiing on groomed sloped. Might be good for deep powder. I put on the original baskets. A waste of money. they should be smaller.

An excellent replacement if you are going to be walking/ trekking in snow, as the bigger basket prevents the pole from digging into the snow. Some folk change the baskets for the winter, but I leave mine on all year round

Very sturdy screw on wide snow basket for poles. A little expensive but should last the life of the poles. Can be removed for snow- free walking

Bought these to replace cheaper ones that came with cheap poles, because the cheap ones didn't last 10mins in the snow...These were bought for my girl friend and I and both sets have so far done great... Four muddy terrain's with four snowy Munros .. and so far I would recommend them

Used this cage on my walking stick whilst on holiday to help walking on sand and gravel paths,It gave me the extra stability and confidence I needed to be able to walk to places I hadn’t reached for a while...Fits easily that even I can slip them off and on when needed...
