Just try them once.
I have been playing for decades and my only regret is not finding these strings sooner. I have a Les Paul and a Tele here that, with these strings, are playing and sounding the best they ever have, and they are both very nice guitars to start. Balanced and even across all strings, clean, and so much more in tune that any other strings I have ever tried. Clean sounds are so clear and chimey, distorted sounds are so much more crisp and articulate. These strings sound so good they make you play better. You feel like your guitar is really responding and more able to do the things you want it to do.I'm a real stickler for setups and I also have a good ear. Do you have that low E string thing where everything sounds fine until you play an open G chord and then that darn low G on the E string sounds awful? No matter what you do, it will never sound in tune? This drives me absolutely insane. Well. if you do, here is the deal. It's not your guitar, it's not your intonation, it is not your imagination, it is your strings. With these strings they are simply in tune everywhere.Update. I play for fun now and these strings last forever. I just changed my Tele set again after way too many months even though the old strings seemed to play pretty well. The new set just blew me away with the tone. Why in the world do these ship from the UK?

Thomastik RP109, very nice!
Very musical tone, tube like sounds. Great sustain. Fun to play. I already have experience with the Blues Sliders and love them, these are very nice too. Seems to fit my 60 strat just right. A little adjustment to tighten the truss as these are a bit heavier than the SL 109 Sliders I was using and it fell into a real nice action and tone. Thomastik are the best strings I've used, worth a little more money, and seem to me to be longer lasting than other brands.

Resposive and feel great
Best strings of all time. Used them for years and will only use them. Thomastik Infeld knows how to make strings. There is absolutely no slag in their alloys. Consider it: these guys have had to figure out how to make concert pianos and harps stay in tune for extended periods and produce flawless tone. I doubt the dudes at Ernie Ball spent the last hundred years working on that problem. These will last a long time and sound beautiful if you know how to string a guitar (unlike the reviewer below).

Strings to heaven
Thomastik strings are the best. I usually purchase the standard size set, however i decided to get a set w/heavy bottom (RP109) to increase the growl on my p90's. I was concerned on how the heavy bottom would change the feel of the strings. the change was so minimal that unless I make note that i am playing the heavier bottom set, no change would be noticed. Thomastik-Infield power brights make a cheap guitar feel like a premium model.

Absolute best strings I've ever tried.
These are the best strings I've ever tried and they are definatley worth the money but if you can only afford to get a pack of these every once in a while like me, I'd suggest you try some GHS Boomers they are the only other strings I've played that sound even remotely close to these at a cheaper price and they feel like a decent compromise between packs of these.

good tone, poor craftsmanship
these sounded good tone wise for about a week and a half but then the high E string and G string snapped for no reason what so ever. I usually play DR blues .009's on my gibson SG but figured I would give these a try because everyone's reviews said they were good. NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL! I have since switched back to DR .009's and low and behold have been playing for months without one string breaking. IMO I think the tone for these strings were decent but at $20.00 you should not have strings breaking and poor quality metal/alloys (they were an odd color compared to the steel strings I'm used to) and winding that isn't set up properly for fatigue due to string bending and vibration. (all strings were thoroughly stretched and stringed properly, When I took them off and compared them to the DR .009's I noticed a difference in their gauges right off the bat as well as the wind quality at the bottoms and the problem could possibly be that Gibson being an american guitar company is set up for american gauges and doesn't like the metric B.S. of imported strings and foreign gauges?...or it could be that this company is known for mandolin and classical instrument strings and hasn't worked out all the bugs for electric guitar strings yet?, maybe a lethal combination of both? not sure as I didn't research in depth the company history...that's just a guess though.) Anyways my opinion is to stick with what works and save yourself $20 for a subpar product that only has hype behind it.

Greatest Strings Ever!!!
Great mids, under-emphasized highs, and great lows. Very clean, and very powerful. They feel amazing, I've never found another set that comes close to matching the feel of these strings. I wish I could afford more sets, but you get what you pay for.

I never use anything else
Probably the best electric guitar string in the world? The beauty of these is their tone and longevity.Great for those high value guitars that may come out less than 10 times a year. I’ve had a set in my 57 Les Paul for three years, still shiny and sounding full of life

Ware - TOP, Zustellung - durchgefallen.
