Has helped my cats health
This product was recommended to me by our vet as a supplement for my cats. They were born feral and we adopted them at 3 months when they were left on our doorstep. One had lung issues and would sneeze up goo. This product greatly helped her health. I am happy to say they are 6 year old happy. healthy full time indoor cats who get this good tasting gel on their food every morning.

Worth it!
Was told to get this for my kitten from the breeder and the vet. I must say she loves it. I just put it on my finger and she eats it all up

My Vet Sells This For 3x The Price
Thrilled to find this item on Amazon. Purchased the powder multiple times from the vet for 3x the price. This time I tried the gel. He's not too crazy about the taste. But it always works great!

Limp tail?
I'm not really sure if it's related to this product, and I didn't write this review until it happened a second time in another cat. When I first used this product about a year ago, no issues and I do believe it helped my cat get over a cold. However recently I fed this to the same cat almost a year later, about a month ago after he started sneezing, then his tail went mostly limp, from mid tail to tip, it was dragging on the floor after a few doses of this, the next day.I didn't think it was related to this product at all, but his sneezing stopped, so I stopped giving it him. This morning, an outdoor neighborhood cat that claimed me was bitten by something, I was worried he'd get infected, so I gave him a half teaspoon of this. About an hour later, his tail also went limp! Not as limp as my indoor cat that I had fed more of it to, but that seemed to be too much of a coincidence, so I threw the rest of the product out.Googling l lysine, I don't think the active ingredient would have caused this, but I'm wondering if an ingredient that is used for flavoring or an inactive ingredient maybe has something to do with it?I am not claiming this product actually caused limp tail, but the coincidence was real, and decided to write this review in case it happens to anyone else.I decided to go ahead and purchase another brand, just in case, I don't want to risk it.

Effective to reduce/eliminate flare-ups
My cat will usually lick it off my finger. On the days he's being difficult ;) I put the gel on his paw, and he licks it off. When taken twice a day, it keeps flare-ups at bay.

My cat loves this better then cat treats
My cat suffers from allergies the vet recommended to use this and my cat who is very picky and won't eat cat treats loves this and he thinks this is his treat when my other cats eat their cat treats but this taste is good for picky cats!

Good product but...
The product works and I know this because I have used it before just in a different medium (powder). The problem I have is getting my cat to eat it. I had high hopes reading through the comments about finicky eaters loving the flavor...maple, who knew cats like maple flavor! But she absolutely refuses to even try it so I have to put it on her paws.
