First and foremost I have never bought fish online before. I was a nervous wreck. The highly extreme stress the fish are under during shipping is not something I initially wanted. I tried looking at different local fish stores for these fishes but I just couldn't find high quality or healthy ones. So I took a big risk, I did alot of research of this company. I liked that it was located in the U.S. and a farm that is small which I assume that means they are able to focus on the health and selection of their fish. When the fish arrived, they were all bagged in the same bag. With not alot of water. I had ordered 12 of them. So that was a bit off-putting. The bag had plenty of air in them too and was doubled bag in case of leakage with an ice pack to keep water cool during shipping. It arrived literally the next day after it was shipped. The fish were all in good condition. Fins and scales were intact. They did seem to look stressed but not anything that's out out of the ordinary. There were no DOAs. I immediately temp acclimated then and transferred them to quarantine tank. Within minutes they were acting normally. I am very pleasantly surprised how easy it was and how the fish thrived through the shipping. The fish looked exactly like in the pictures. I was very happy with my purchase and the care the company took to make it happen.I see many bad reviews about that I feel is not the companies fault. There is always a risk through shipping. As long as you get the fish out immediately after it gets delivered, temp acclimate, and quarantine them properly. There will no issues whatsoever. If the fish died while in your care...it's possible you did not did these steps or your tank or pond was not fully cycled and you did not quarantine fish. I think a proper fish keeper who is educated on goldfish keeping, I would highly recommend this company.

The fish were received safely, well packaged and promptly. That being said, I was surprised at the small size of the fish. I purchased 5-6" fish and none of the fish were near 5" long which was very disappointing. I will certainly not attempt to return them but am definitely disappointed. I ordered two different type fish, both orders were shipped together and none of the fish were near 5" long. I don't know if there was a mix-up in pulling the fish to fill the order or what happened, but we will still give them a good home.

Ordering fish over the internet from an Amazon provider scared me to death. And, when the fish came, they were packed into a small bag with little water. I thought I had lost my money and would have to go through mighty Amazon to get a refund from the vendor. Two things happened - one, the fish were lively and beautiful and did not seem to suffer from the cruel way of being shipped literally packed like sardines - and - two, the fish went through a growth spurt within a couple of weeks (showing how healthy they were) and one had babies. I tried to upload pictures and can if anyone asks a question of this review, but the vendor's pictures are accurate. This was a win. For our small pond, I can't order more, but if I had a bigger pond, I would order from this company again. ...although I will admit, the shipping was downright cruel. Imagine a gallon sized bag with 7 (yes, we got an extra one thrown in) 6 inch fish and only half way filled with water. The shipping was ridiculous, and if they are doing that to save money, I would have paid a dollar more to not have the fish shipped in that way.

I bought fish based on the amazon reviews. I thought it would take a week and it took like a day or two to get them. The are all healthy and none died in transport.It has been 24 hours and made sure water conditions were good, but they are swimming around. Only a few are hiding, which is expected.I think I got one extra so I have 7 fish.I don't want to complain for the value, but they all kinda look the same of the same type to warn you. I got four blue ones and thought based on the pictures I would get a variety. I would give 5 starts, if it was not for that.

Fish showed up healthy. Far better than anything you can buy at a pet store. The seller was very cooperative in making sure it shipped on a date where I would be home on the arrival date. Ship dates on the Amazon site are not accurate.

I have had my fish for three days now and everyone is still doing fine.. They were put on a plane at 7 pm and arrived the next day at noon. Out of the 6 Sarasa & Shubunkins I ordered, only one arrived "damaged"; one of my shubunkins. Upon arrival it had a chunk of skin hanging off of it's head and has one dead eye. So, it's pretty from one side, but once it turns to the other side it looks like a zombie fish. Probably not something you'll really notice once it is in the pond. But I feel kind of bad for it. If there is food on the dead side, it doesn't see it. But I'm sure it will figure things out. Not sure if this happened in shipping or if it came that way, that's why I am giving 5 stars. I can't confirm this fish was like that when it left the seller.Shipping was fast and all of the fish are lively and happy. Even the zombie fish.

I have purchased fish from these people a few times. You can trust them. Their advertising is accurate the fish are healthy when I got them. What more to say?

Wow- gorgeous fish! These folks know how to pack and ship fish. All alive, healthy and swimming in their new home. I was impressed when I ordered koi from these folks, so I returned and ordered the nice goldfish package- WOW! These guys are beautiful. I am currently cleaning and resetting another small pond and will definitely be ordering from these fine folks again. Beautiful fish, great packaging, and fast shipping equal a wonderful experience. I can not find fish anywhere near this quality for even three times the price anywhere around locally- and my shortest distance to a crappy pet store that actually carries fish is a hundred miles round trip (rural area), so "local" is relative. Therefore I am extremely pleased with the excellent quality and service provided by Toledo Goldfish! Thank ya'll for a wonderful setvice!
