Except the noise, which we got used to eventually, this machine is powerful to wet air.

It was a good unit while it lasted. Used to control humidity in a basement, set to run continuously, cycling from fan to dehumidifier modes. Every few weeks, have to check and reset the filter monitor, but it held the room to a low humidity I was aiming for. Last week when I checked it, there was a massive (3 inches past the exterior, and 4 inches off the coil) block of ice on the coil, after some research, it is a refrigerant leak most likely.

Cheaply made and high noise level.

This is my second Danby dehumidifier; the first lasted nearly 3 years. This one failed to dehumidify after slightly more than 9 months. Very disappointed.

Arrived with a detached, small, plastic part in the water collector. Makes horrible noise on start/restart. Brisk side-to-side shake silences said racket. Shall not, not, not take this thing anywhere. When noise becomes constant- to the dump and no more electro-mechanical devices from Amazon.

I had 2 Danby dehumidifiers neither one lasted even 2 years. That they LEAKED water all over the place!

I had this brand before but smaller. Love that it has a bigger reservoir so I only have to empty it every 2nd or 3rd day. I've placed it in my lower level family room and it keeps the whole lower level, including three separate rooms, nice and dry. It is noisy and as my bedrooms are in the lower level, I turn it off at night.

Works great but Thought the tube would drain water to the sink but I think it has to lay flat on floor to a drain. I’m emptying out 3 full bucket full of water daily at work .maybe I’m doing something wrong with the tube connected to the unit this not draining to sink. White nice design.

Works well. It's the best dehumidifier on the market
