Good for new cellists
I bought this as a practice bow because the original Eastman bow was not well-balanced. This one is better but the horse hair is not perfectly smooth. I also bought a CodaBow Prodigy which is more expensive but well-balanced and with high quality overall. The DZ Strad bow is playable for a while. To produce better sound quality and playability, be prepared to upgrade this.
