A flop for me.
I usually like their stuff, but this was not a good product for me. The folding is difficult. So, I've tried to draw and then fold and fold then draw. Neither system leaves a good work surface and when doesn't smudge the drawing.Paper doesn't hold much of my pastels and the color pencils looked streaky. I use decently cheap pastels still because I'm just experimental with them, but I have some good colored pencils. I'm not sure why those don't show up better.Black paper is at least fun and new.I will keep trying to love them because the idea is super cool.

Great idea but...
Honestly I only have two complaints about this item. 1. is the thickness any type of paint saturation is not advised the paper is not thick enough. 2. When it come to fold the paper, even though its pre scoured it's still hard to manipulate and the lines/folds dont always line up so it ends up a little crooked. It's a really great idea but there is room for improvement.

Really easy and casual alternative to a canvas
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I love this product! I had a hard time folding it with the first one but once I figured it out it's really easy. I love that each sheet is really lightweight, like you can just pack a couple in your bag no problem. But it's awesome how they fold up and instantly look so official or professional. And there are holes in the back so you can hang them on a tack or nail. These are such a great idea!

Much smaller end product once folded than shown in advertised image.
Not the size it appeared to be as advertised. It looks much larger, but once folded on perforated lines, the size goes down dramatically and is very small.

Used for art
As a teacher, I am always looking for new materials to explore. This was fun for children to work with and I would use again.

Great for beginners.
Easy to fold and have a 3d aspect of the paper thick enough not to break easy but you have to be careful when bending edges great with bright colors...

What a great invention, I love it.
I received the 7 x 8.6 inch folded size, white sheet set.The photos shown represent this product and the title for this review is not accurate for what I received. However, I have ordered all of these products, in various sizes and black and white, and I love them all. They do get soaked and warp a little during the working phase with water based paints, but they shrink back into shape. I would load these with water based product. These are wonderful. They are a nice weight and are easy to fold and 'assemble'. The surface of this thick, fold along the lines, sketch paper is smooth and matt quality. I is great for gel pens, water based paints and also resin projects. There is no end to what you can do using your creativity. I'm so excited to put these to use. I'll update with project photos, but for now it's important to note the size and what this is. It is folding paper that creates a museum frame type box for your art project. It'd be great for mounting a greeting card for easy hanging also. The product is exactly as advertised and I would recommend it to anyone who is into crafts. There is an embossed logo name ARTEZA on the side of the folded visible edge. If you are doing some projects and don't want that to show, you'll have to deal with that logo. Going forward as an art product the embossed logo should be remedied, removed to go on the inner edge once folded instead of the visible side edge. These are fun, I have a ton of projects to try. Right now I am musing over the German Cockroach. This one's name is Selma. LOL.Great craft product. I love these things. 5 stars.

Create Art That's Ready to Hang
This paper is heavyweight and beautiful The description says "canvas," which it isn't. It is high quality paper that's black all the way through. You can paint on both sides and it won't soak through. It comes in a gum-bound pad with the edges of the foldable framing smoothly perforated. (I would advise having a craft knife handy to keep the edges extra-clean.I painted compositions based on my Saddlehorn Series in white acrylic marker (Tavolozza) on both sides. I prefer the effect on what I call the front (second photo) because when you fold it, there are holes in the "back" so you can slip it over a nail and it will sit against the wall like a mini gallery-wrap.In the first photo you see the effect of the "back." That's where the craft knife comes in. If you plan to create a frame for the fridge (you'll need to add an adhesive magnet to the back), be extra-careful punching out the art from the pad. Pay special attention to the small tabs and the slots they will insert into. My corners look very rough because I was experimenting and had a little trouble figuring it out. I painted the top edges gray with acrylic. I'm not thrilled with my craftmanship on this side, but it gives you the idea. I did another "Saddlehorn Series" sketch in white acrylic, but I could have affixed a photograph or other small graphic to this side. You can paint the "frame" sections of either or both sides. I recommend doing so before punching it out of the pad. It's easier to mask and paint when it's flat.Folding the "frame" took a little thought and experimentation, but it wasn't hard. The Origami (winks) is very well engineered and comes out perfectly if you are careful when punching it out. This product is fun for all ability levels. The youngest artists will need help folding the frame, but the results are extremely lightweight and handsome. They would look great in a grouping in a hallway or small room, The side I call the "back" would be perfect for the fridge door. A stick-on magnet would hold it up with power to spare.I look forward to experimenting more with this innovative product.

Good for the price.
I bought these for my daughter. She quite likes them but they can be fiddly to put together into the canvas shape. She uses Posca pens with them and they hold up quite well to quite a few layers. The cardboard itself is quite thick but I think if it’d been even thicker the canvases would have been sturdier. They are smaller than I imagined all in all the idea is a good and I would recommend.

Sturdy black card, works well for multimedia techniques
Very nice black paper from Arteza. It's thick enough to take some multimedia techniques as long as you don't use too much water. I've used metallic pens and they show up beautifully against the dark black.
