Beautiful hammock! Very sturdy. I didn’t want a metal frame and this is perfect. This is lovely to look at on the decking. So far so good being uncovered over the winter as pre treated. My teenager put it together. Very comfortable. I removed the hammock when not in use to avoid damaging the material. It can flip over in the wind so best to store when not using. Love it!

So...... I had wanted one of these for a while but at £300+ I just couldn't justify it. When I saw this for £125 I immediately thought, how good can it be for that price. I decided to roll the dice and ordered one. On arrival I unpackaged the hammock frame and was surprised at the weight, quality and finish. It really is a great bit of kit! The timber was a little dry, but I had planned to oil it anyway as it was going to be outside and now it looks awesome. I did like the style of hammock it came with so ordered a more traditional style one from Amazon for £35 which works perfectly and is so comfortable. If you fancy one of these, don't be put off by the low price just be prepared to oil it before use to give better longevity.

Fast delivery, easy assembly, good design and very sturdy. Take care getting in and out though as you’ll end up on the floor otherwise-as with all hammocks.

The actual wooden base is really nice, and overall it LOOKS good, however the hammock itself is next to useless. It's a struggle to get on and even more of a struggle to stay on!The canvas hammock is completely flat, it constantly blows upside down in the wind and if you move while you're on it, you will fall straight off. Contacted VanHaus directly who offered no help or advice and so we have since bought two replacement canvasses, one was too big, the other too small. We're still trying to make it work.Sometimes a bargain isn't a bargain.

What shame the hammock is not up to the standard of the frame. My wife fell out of it twice over two days due to the fabric not being loose enough and she just rolled off it. Purchased a cheap hammock for it from another firm much better quality.
