Scala Women's Visor Hat With Big Brim

The velcro used to go all the way to the end of the ends. On the new version, the velcro is about 3/8" from each end, making about 3/4" totally useless and not able to adjust to a larger size.

I like that the extra wide brim shields more of my face from direct sun rays. It’s super cute and very comfortable to wear.

100% cotton hat and nice strong large brim. Quality looks excellent!! Can't wait to wear this summer. Other brims are not large enough to cover the face. There are cheaper hats out there but I believe you get what you pay for.. I love this piece!!I also purchased Scala Women's One Size Paper Braid Visor this one has a smaller brim but I love it too.Thank you!

Overall, my favorite hat ever. That said, it will fade in time and if it gets wet, will show stains. It doesn't protect your scalp if you have a part in your hair, but that is only in intense and prolonged sunlight.

I LOVE these visors! I tried two of them about 7 or 8 years ago. I washed them by hand for a long time then used the very gentle cycle on my washing machine when I had other things to add. Washed very nicely. They do a great job protecting my face, are cool to wear while out in the sun pruning my yard, walking or hiking, or driving my convertible. They stay put! Eventually they began to fray so I bought new ones for errands using the frayed ones in the yard. They are still totally serviceable. My friend liked my visor so I got her one and she LOVES it when she gardens and walking to work. She is going to get other colors. One of her employees is also interested in getting one or some. SCALA makes a very serviceable, comfortable, and attractive product. I'm not a bow person so I remove them easily. TIP: When I wash them, I spray the head band part with SHOUT then wash or soak with clothes detergent and a little Oxyclean. Oils and sweat wash right out. Fading happens eventually from the sun. Even faded they look good. In fact my friend prefers the faded color.

I love this hat. It’s not a fashion, statement or anything but it gives fantastic sun protection. I think people recognize me from a distance because I always wear it when I’m playing pickle ball. I haven’t seen many people wearing it but it’s great for sun protection, and I’m all about sun protection. It’s well it’s comfortable.

It's a little bit, old lady on the golf course, but I don't care. It keeps me from getting a burn and it doesn't blow off on windy days. It does get these weird, white patches on it, probably from sunscreen fingers, but otherwise it's perfect.
