This was my favorite book as a child and I was thrilled to find the hardcover here. Caveat emptor, I did not notice the (rather large in retrospect ) advertisement on the bottom right corner, which rather ruins the look of the beautiful classic cover art. But finding it made me very happy,and it's condition was awesome. I was unable to locate a drawing of 3 year old me holding it my dad had drawn, so I held this one in a selfie for moms calendar for Christmas, and really surprised her.

Arrived in perfect condition from the seller! I’m so thankful. Only one small name written inside, otherwise brand new condition.A lovely little story. I bought it after having some memory of reading it as a child when my daughter was reading Emily Martin’s beautiful longer version of it.

Book is used. But condition was good and as described. Delivery was quick. No worries.

The book I got had someone's name written in it and it was taped, which was not mentioned. I'd say it's slightly below my expectation, but the illustrations are gorgeous and paper texture is excellent.

I love this book & was upset when my Granddaughter messed up the original one I had. So I was wanted to get another just like and there are so many different version of this book but not like this. I search many pages looking for just this one & was please to find it and also in great condtion.

I had this same book and version of this story as a small child. I love it♡

This is a story that my grandmother would read to my mother when she was little. Its a classic and I hope Disney NEVER gets a hold of it. It is to good of a story to be tainted.

Loved this book as a kid. So excited to find a copy.
