My wife loves to bake cookies and every once in a a while I crave a good macadamia nut cookie. She makes me a batch but it's hard to buy Macadamia nuts in rural Texas.Amazon delivers so I get to eat cookies!This brand is great - the nuts come whole - not broken. I like to eat them unsalted too so this is wonderful for my health.There's nothing like a taste of Hawaii with these tasty Macadamia nuts. So happy!

a nut that goes rancid quickly, these are fresh tasting . Im putting in freezer to keep them that way. Yum!

The price was right. Because they were inexpensive so I was worried about freshness, but they were fresh and tasty.

YUM! Thankfully my bag is fresh, smells good, and tastes great. Whole macadamia nuts with that wonderful crisp snap crunch. Dry roasted, no added salt or anything else. Ugh so good. Be sure to dole out a little and then tuck the rest away because it is hard to stop once get started eating these.Macadamia nuts are supremely easy to chop if need be for baking. I prefer that they come whole as they seem to stay fresher longer, also I prefer texture of popping a round macadamia nut in my mouth. LOve these so much I am already thinking of buying more.Exp date stamped on it is 12/07/2022. Assuming month, date, year, this is pretty good. I acquired these 04/2022. I'm trying hard to make these last a day let alone 6 months, haha.The bag is a basic mostly clear plastic/cellophane like bag--typical for a lot of nuts or beans sold in stores. No pressure zip closure. I recommend sliding into another bag or container and keep out of light for maximum freshness retention.

I buy these for my bird. He's very spoiled and will only eat macadamia nuts from Hawaii. From anywhere else, he won't eat them. I had one bag of these and he loved them. He gets one nut half per day. I ordered more and they arrived already expired! Amazon credited me, but I need more and I'm afraid to order them. How Amazon ships expired food is beyond me. It's not the first time. I'm not blaming Hamakua, I blame Amazon. LOOK AT THE EXPIRATION DATES OF THE STUFF YOU'RE ABOUT TO SHIP OUT.

I was excited to find these as my husband loves macadamia nuts but these did not have some quality or consistency and a few would taste ok then some were rancid tasting and mushy. I actually bought one sack and started a subscribe and save but immediately cancelled when second bag was bad and there is no return on these so you have to throw away. What a disappointment and they should let you know that as they are not inexpensive! Buying these was a sad mistake and no way to contact seller.

Eat these for nutrients and yummy-ness. Crunchy, mostly halves and not many little bits. I transferred to a zip gallon bag and added a few food grade dessicant packets.

We use macadamia nuts in baking goods. These are the freshest and best tasting of all the ones we have tried. They are also good right from the package. Glad we got a nut sourced from Hawaii. It adds to the pleasure knowing we are helping a grower from the islands.
