Comfort AND Style? Yes.
I ordered this as a second saddle for my Nirve Switchblade. The stock grips and saddle are brown leather with tribal-y designs on them. A few years ago I ordered some 25" riser bars (ape hangers) just for fun and instead of having to switch grips each time, I just ordered a pair of second grips: fuzzy, leopard print. I always wanted a seat to match and I just recently made that happen. This is the same Nirve quality as my original saddle. Soft, springy, stylish...I have had not any problems with this so far, as far as performance and looks are concerned. Installation is another story. The seatpost clamp that came with this is slightly different than what's on my other saddle and for some reason, would not grip the seatpost at all. I cranked it down and it still would just spin and twist right off! I finally just used the seatclamp from the original saddle and problem solved. Weird. Maybe a shim would have worked, but I don't have access to my garage and tools right now. But it's fine now and it only takes a few minutes to switch the clamps, so no big deal.I just hope Nirve reads this and looks at the problem, if they have the same issue.

I am not a big fan of plastic or "Airbag Suspension" seats.
The price was right for a basic springer seat. What I got was a total disappointment. I build classic Schwinns and the leopard spot seat was the perfect touch to pimp out this particular build I am working on. First of all Shame on Amazon for not enough pictures of this product. I had to look online for images of the Electra seat which was a few dollars more. First of all plastic has no place in certain applications, one of them is the seat pan. That is the part of the seat that takes all the pounding. Who wants to have a seat post go up their ass one day because the plastic gave way which it ALWAYS DOES OVER TIME? The Nirve seat LOOKS nice but "under the hood" is a whole different matter. There are what they call "Air Bags" instead of springs and they have no value what so ever in shock absorbing. The padding of the seat is what absorbs the shocks the bike tires can't absorb. I wanted a Springer Seat. This seat is also about the same size as the seat I took off of my Micargi Tahiti LX and is the exact same construction which was why I removed the seat from that bike too and replaced it with a black Electra Springer seat with the handlebar on it! If you just need a cheap seat then this will do for you if you like the leopard spots. It is fuzzy but so is the Electra seat. You spend more on the Electra seat but it is a heavy seat and built much better than the Nirve product. I hated this seat so much I actually sent it back dissatisfied and actually a little bummed out that Amazon does not have a better gallery of pictures for these products to show us what they are made of and made like. This seat is totally unworthy of sitting atop a Schwinn of ANY FLAVOR! Nirve cut some drastic corners making this seat. It is only fit for a cheap bike, not classics, not quality bikes, and especially not bikes you want to last for years and years.I may sound harsh on this review but the seat is flat out not worth the money they want for it. I can get the same type seat short of the leopard cover for $10 dollars new! $37 is WAY TOO MUCH FOR THIS CHEAP MADE SEAT. Spend the extra few dollars and get the Electra seat! If it doesn't have springs it IS NOT A SUSPENSION SEAT! Airbags are BULL**** and they don't work!

Fantastic from a long term owner
I have had my Nirve Minx 3 speed(including this exact seat) for 2 years & LOVE it. This seat is super cute with the short fur material. I think it looks better than the picture! I've ridden this all over & think it's SUPER comfy with plenty of shock absorption. The seat quality is holding up great & still looks new. Yes, the Nirve brand is not cheap, but totally worth it especially since Nirve is all made here in the USA. The other reviewer must be a really heavy or unusually large.
