Top Gear: Complete Season 12 [DVD] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC]

Classic Top Gear. Though my only quibble is that I had to get if on Region 1 DVD from America. Why on Earth don't the Beeb release all this classic stuff for us viewers in the UK? Still, at least I could get it - absolutely essential for a TG addict. :-)

This is a great dvd and I love top gear season 12 because it is my favourite season of top gear so its just great

I bought this DVD for my grandson for Christmas. Apparently, it is not sold in the UK and has to be shipped over from America. I was warned that the delivery period was a long one and that I might not receive the DVD before Christmas. However, I was delighted that it arrived in time.My grandson was absolutely thrilled with his present until he tried to play it on our DVD - only to find that American DVDs do not play in European DVD players. Unfortunately, in my ignorance, I hadn't realised this. It would have been helpful if Amazon highlighted the fact that American DVDs are not compatible with European DVD players. Consequently, I was ready to give this a one star rating. However, my grandson is fairly good with technology and did some research on the net to discover a way round this problem. It meant altering various settings on his DVD player - "a bit of hacking", he said. So, he's been able to watch his Top Gear DVD and he loves it. I'm giving it a three star rating, because unless you are adept with technology, you won't be able to watch it!
