I bought a house that had chalkboard paint on a large section of a kitchen wall. So I tried to refurbish it by painting it again with chalk paint but that just stained. So I decided to cover half of it with this and half with a chalkboard one. This was so much easier to handle and hang than the chalkboard part. I ended up framing it in cork and it looks great and functions better. It stuck to the wall easily and even allowed me to pull off and adjust to straighten. It fits flush against the wall with no blemishes. Highly recommended

My daughter was looking for a whiteboard to stay organized at work. But, most of the whiteboards I saw were either too large, small or expensive. So, I decided to try this dry eraser contact paper and I must say I am delighted to have taken the chance on buying it. It is thick and easy to apply. I taped two foam boards together (for durability), applied the dry eraser contact paper to one side and a decorative contact paper on the other side (I could have left out the decorative paper on the back, since the foam boards are black, but I was overzealous and having too much fun creating this). I use decorative trims and added command strips on the back (I used foam boards and commands strips to avoid sticking it directly on the wall or appearing lumpy with the strips on the paper). Then, I added a magnetic strip on the front to hold the magnetic marker. I tested for ghosting by writing on the board and leaving the writing on it for two days. When I erased it, there were no traces of the writing. It came with three markers and a soft cloth for erasing. Using the cloth appear to restore the paper back to a nice shine. The good thing is, I have more of the paper left in any event I want to make two more boards or if I want to change the old paper if or when it gets damaged from long term usage.***UPDATE: This was the best Idea, ever. I only wish there was more on the roll. But, I was able to make another board for myself, with maybe enough left to piece together another. I love that by using foam boards, I’m about to personalize my boards to my liking.

I got the white board roll two days ago. The installation was easy as described and having two people would be very helpful. I am somewhat disappointed that I have several marks on the roll already. It doesn't seem like the marks are from then markers, but rather physical scratches that removed the surface coating. I do not know where the marks came from. I also feel that their markers are kind of dry. I really like their concept, and I want to like it, but I am really worried that it might get worse from here...[Edit] I am updating my score from 2 to 4, because this is quite a good product. I like their pen and it erases pretty well. I thought my wall was not that textured, but I suppose it is and that makes erasing more cumbersome. For those will textured walls, I almost feel worth placing some poster board behind it to smoothen the surface.

This was a Christmas gift for my son who's an artist. He mentioned wanting to draw on a whiteboard so he had practice drawing on a larger scale. This was a good compromise! Just so you know, it is adhesive but also comes with nails for the corners, which we may try not to use. I was kind of looking to not damage the wall. I didn't realize when I ordered it that it comes with markers and a cloth for wiping, which is nice. I wish it were magnetic but I realize that's a bit much to ask given the nature of this. Nice to just have a temporary whiteboard on a wall in the house.

Works great but pulled the paint off my wall. I stuck it on the wall twice when I got it to reduce the adhesion, then I tried to pull it off 1 month later and it pulled all the paint off the wall.

Updated review: Originally, my order arrived without all of the listed accessories. Almost immediately the company made it right and shipped me a replacement. It was my only complaint. The product itself is wonderful. I have acrovyn paneling on my sons walls, so I can’t speak to how it sticks to painted walls or other materials. The installation was simple and I did it by myself. Instructions recommend 2, but if done carefully it’s totally possible with one. Thus far, the adhesion is strong and the corners have no signs of lifting. Getting the few bubbles out during install was truly the *hardest* part and it wasn’t even hard. It was more fun actually, lol. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
