I've installed five sets of these on my guitars to date between the 6-inline and 3+3 versions. Extremely easy to install and excellent quality & performance. These are the same type of tuners James Tyler puts on his $5000 boutique guitars, so it's better than good enough for my ragtag collection of parts-casters & mid-range models. Highly recommended upgrade.

These are great tuners, very very high quality metals and we'll machined parts. Feels very sturdy turning the keys and tuning is smooth and stable. For people saying the posts are too short for their headstock are probably just not realizing these are low profile and are supposed to be quite short. They're locking tuners so you don't need them wound around, leaving less post to be needed. They look great, only real downside is they are so shiny that your finger prints will forever be shining on the end of your headstock. These are going on every guitar I own.I ordered a set of guyker brand amazon locking tuners that were only about 15 to 20 bucks cheaper than these, and they were absolutely awful. How often are you buying tuners? Just spend the extra cash and get these.

Install is about as easy as it gets. This kit installed on a 2021 LTD EC256 with no modifications needed. The UMP plates do not cover the original screw holes if that is important to you. I don't care, why are you looking at the back of your headstock anyway when you should be playing? The locking mechanism works well and tuners are smooth with just a hint of backlash which is unavoidable. All you are feeling is the tiny bit of clearance the gears need to turn smooth. The brass open gears look cool and the chrome is high quality.Update: Have been using these tuners for two months and my guitar has awesome tuning stability. I can usually play a few days without having to tune, probably two hours a day of playing and I do a lot of string bends.

I have these on six guitars - I think they are the best tuner for the $$. Never a problem - recommend. Helps that they are easy to install (if your guitar has the right size holes) but I'd buy it even if it wasn't. Have owned these for years and experience great tuning stability (with proper fitting and prep of the nut of course).

I've upgraded several of my guitars with these locking tuners. The installation process is easy. My tuning is now rock solid. My Gibson's with Nashville style bridges have also been upgraded with roller bridges. I never go out of tune now during a gig. I tune at sound check and my guitar stays in tune all night.

Replaced stock tuners on 2018 PRS SE 24 Standard. No modification needed. Quick and easy install. But take the extra few minutes to read the instructions, so you know exactly what to do with those backing plates. Once installed, the tuners work great. Full disclosure, my tremolo is blocked, because I prefer to bend notes old school. Even without the tremolo, the old tuners did not stay in tune. Big improvement!
