I am a long-time loyal Braun electric shaver supporter. I've had my Braun 5S Wet/Dry for five years and it's performed like a charm. I purchased it with the Clean & Charge station and would press the clean button after 2-3 shaves. I thought this was enough to keep it going. Over the past several months, I noticed it to be a little bit more painful when I would use my electric shaver, as it was pulling the hairs on my face and not doing a good job of cutting them. I would have to run the shaver over the same section of my face 3-4 times to get all of the stubble cut off. It would take me about 8-10 minutes to shave to get all of the stubble. I finally got fed up with that and started to do a little research. I found the owner's manual and looked up the model and type to ensure I was ordering the correct replacement shaver head with blades. I found this on Amazon quickly and placed the order. It arrived the next day and I couldn't wait to open it to try it out. I took the old head off, opened the packaging, and snapped the new head on. Done in 10 seconds! It took me longer to open the package! I turned it on and ran it across my cheek near my jawline and I was surprised! Baby smooth in the first pass!! Amazing what sharp blades can do! I looked at my watch and kept shaving in my normal manner. When I finished shaving, I looked at my watch and was shocked. I was done in 1 min 10 seconds. Why oh why did I wait so long to make this purchase?!!!

Fit perfect

I've used Braun for many years, now on my second razor. I've found it better than any others on the market, using electric razors for 40 years. The Silver For Series 5 head is well constructed, and this one is authentic, made in Germany. Don't get stuck with a counterfeit. I have a light to moderate beard, so it suits me well. A heavy beard, in my opinion, should use a blade razor. I too, use a blade. Nothing can beat a blade, but the Braun comes in a good second, if you shave every other day, not more than three. (remember my beard) I change heads after 12 months, not the recommended 18. For me, they don't last that long. Shaving times steadily increase beyond 12 ,months. Recommended.

Bought the same (allegedly authentic) replacement shaving block from another company to save a couple of bucks and it was a nightmare. Didn't fit well and worst of all pulled my whiskers making it uncomfortable to shave.Went back to the Kombipack and the difference is night and day. This is the one you want.

Buy the original blade not those that are made in China. Those blades do not shave well at all.

Dazu gibt es nicht viel zu sagen. Der erste Scherkopf hielt etwa 6 Jahre. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist sehr gut, so wie man es von Braun gewohnt ist. Der neue wird bestimmt genauso lange halten.
