I was advised to take this brand of Biotin to help with hairloss- while I personally did not experience any change in hair loss issues, I did begin to have thicker/stronger hair and nails after consistent use. Key word is consistent.The flavor of this product is not for me, but I'd imagine a kid would prefer this over swallowing a pill. I just swallow this one instead of chewing.

Since I’ve been using these, about 2 months now, my hair is not falling out as much. And there’s new growth visible... so happy and relieved. It was getting very thin (post-menopause) and my part was looking wide but I think it’s much better now. There chewable, but I prefer to just swallow them.
