Works really well for my son who has ASD and sensory processing disorder. He sometimes seeks pressure when falling asleep. This has a good weight and the fabric is cosy soft. Well made and a good size. Weighted blankets shouldn’t be left on all night. My son’s OT recommended no longer than 20mins. Which is enough time for him to gain the feedback needed to relax more. A good contribution towards his sleep routine needs. Would recommend. Quality and price is fab. These sort of things can be costly from sensory shops. Really pleased with this purchase

I was hesitant to purchase but decided after reading the reviews to go ahead and place order for 2 blankets for my 9 and 11 year old boys. My oldest moved a lot in bed and duvet would always be at the foot end of the bed. My younger son always kicked off the duvet half way during the night. I can say after 2 nights observing them they both slept deep and woke up with blanket still covering them. They love the soft fabric against their skin and taken to the weighted blanket really well. I'm super impressed overall and wish that I bought them long time ago ( definately will be purchasing a 3rd one for my daughter ofcourse pink in colour)

Need to buy a blanket based on your child weight not age, which is fine but my child needs the lowest weight but it’s only just long enough to cover him. Low weight doesn’t always mean small child. He is 7. But feels gorgeous and my child loves it

I have ADHD, autism & OCD and I wanted to try a weighted blanket but adults ones are way to heavy. I’m 5ft 1 and 48kg, so I went for the heaviest kids one and this was perfect as it had stars on it too! (For reference I am in my early 20s).In Winter I had the blanket over the top of my (summer weight) duvet and it the temperature was fine, I had it on every single night . Now it’s warmer nearly summer I’m only putting the blanket on if I’m having worried or scared thoughts (happens a lot if I’ve watched horror haha) and the weight will help me feel safe because I then find it much easier to move past and dismiss the thoughts than if I don’t put it on. The weight is definitely calming. I have a bit of a love hate relationship with it when my ADHD is bad because it can be too restrictive (I’m very hyperactive). But now I’m used to how it is, I only use it for when I need calming & tend to only have it for a short time and taking it off just before sleeping. It’s perfect for how I use it!I don’t know how other Autistic & adhd people will find the weight but for me it was just enough weight, any heavier or lighter and I wouldn’t have liked it. And It was perfect for my OCD. Very soft underneath.I wish I had this blanket sooner! Definitely recommend.
