Hey loves, Happy Saturday! ☀️ ⠀I wanted to show you something I recently got and have been using everyday since. This desk from NathanJames. I like to draw a little when I get any time to myself. That doesn’t happen a lot with two kids and a busy schedule hehe, but now I have the perfect spot for some mama time. This desk was so easy to put together and it’s so beautiful. I loveeee how much space there is to fit everything. Even the dog loves it. Very sturdy and big enough to hold so much.

This desk came with no instructions to assemble. Granted it only 6 pieces and if you have the patience it’s easy enough. It should at least come with an inventory of screws and tools to make sure you have everything you need.Also this desk came with a chip in the corner. The metal eye holes to screw into the table top are not aligned with the predrilled holes. If you don’t have a power drill like myself, you are screwed (pun intended).I know for certain this was a returned desk and resent out to me since the table legs levelers were already assembled since they sent the new hardware separately and the package had packaging tape all over it.Not returning it since we need a desk immediately for some guests and won’t be available to get a new one in time.We took a risk from the range of positive and some negative reviews and it did not pay off. I do not recommend buying anything from here if you want things to have a standard level of quality assurance.

UPDATE JANUARY 2021:I'm sad to report that only after 6 months of use (primarily to work from home), the area where I've placed my computer mouse has started to peel. This desk is definitely not the sturdiest one out there, although I shouldn't have had such high expectations for the low price. It's arguably worse quality than IKEA furniture. The only thing I can do is to buy a desk mat to cover up the spot and protect it from further damage, or buy contact paper to cover up the entire surface. What a shame. The faux wood look was nice while it lasted.The rest of the desk is holding up fine, and from far away, it looks good. But looking up close, you can find a good amount of imperfections that betray the low quality.Do NOT use the desk without a desk mat and/or mouse pad and/or glass top to protect the surface, although I don't think investing in a glass top for this desk would be worth it for how much it would cost - you'd end up paying at least an equivalent amount of money for the desk, if not more than the actual desk.------ORIGINAL REVIEW JULY 2020:This product took a long time to arrive for whatever reason. When it did arrive, it came in good condition and was packaged fairly securely. Installation was very easy and took maybe 10-15 minutes for a single person to do. It's pretty sturdy and has held up well for a few months to a large computer monitor, two laptops, and a lamp.The table looks clean, modern and attractive. The table top has a design that imitates wood. From far away it looks fairly real. My only gripe is that the edges of the table top were peeling a little upon arrival. I'm not sure how long the table top will last before it starts peeling more noticeably. I guess contact paper will be the solution when/if that day comes.

Very well packed and with English and proper instruction manual. Please note that I believe the numbers on screws 2 and 3 are mixed up. At least in my parcel.Furthermore, I don't think there's a way to add the little brown .. decoration thingies on the screws, because they won't go deep enough.We're still at a 5 star rating or even 6, but now comes the BUMMER:I already damaged a $80 Wolford shirt with this d.... table. It's not ... how do you say? They didn't file it properly, and it's rough, like something you would use on calluses.If I hadn't put it together, I would return it this second. I feel kind of betrayed. I don't know of many people who test if a wood plate has been thoroughly prepared before they put it together.You cannot wear anything delicate when using this table (or not touch it) because it will damage the fabric.

This desk is super easy to assemble! I am not the best at putting together furniture and usually have to have my husband do it, but he was out of town so I decided to do it myself. I had it put together in 10-15 minutes! It comes partially assembled, so the entire desk is put together in 4 steps. The directions were clear and simple to follow! The desk itself if beautiful. It’s a great mix between a rustic and modern desk, would look great with a lot of different decor styles! I have a boho industrial farmhouse decor style and it looks great in my home. I love the color and design. It’s also very sturdy! It’s the perfect balance between a sturdy and firm desk, while still being lightweight and easy to move. Shipping was super fast too! Came in the usual Amazon 2 day timeframe.Highly recommend this awesome desk!

I LOVE this simple design. The desk was super easy to assemble. There are minimal parts and the manufacturer’s instructions brought a smile to my face. One of my screws is threaded incorrectly (I will contact the manufacturer). I purchased two for our home office and the size is perfect.5/15/20: Just wanted to post an update that Nathan James quickly responded & replaced the hardware kit so that I assemble my second desk. They also provided shipping updates and followed up on delivery. Awesome customer service!

I love it and my cat doesn't make it shake when he jumps up, too about 20 minutes to assemble by myself. Looks minimalistic/modern and it's the perfect size for my job (teaching online).The edges came damaged a bit, but I bought it used/like new, so I expected it to potentially have some damage. I also felt like the table was a bit higher than the average desk, so if you're around my height (5'2), keep that in mind and be sure to check the measurements. For the price, I definitely recommend it!

Arrived damaged so colored and dented. Looked like the desk was 20 years old. And not in a vintage way. Just terrible.
