KS2 Comprehension Book 3

I love this series of comprehension book, they not only address a variety of skills but also provide lots of discussion opportunities. This is a resource well suited to adult in put to gain the most from the texts but also suited to learners working independently with some easy and other thought provoking questions to respond to.

My son loves to read, but sometimes I feel like he doesn't really know what he is reading. These comprehension workbooks are great for additional learning, holiday or homework. We had a rule of one page a day during the summer holidays and he got a much better understanding of paying attention when reading.

Good short comprehension practice but beware there are no answers - I think you have to buy these separate

The comprehension texts were varied. I have all 4 workbooks as work with children of different ages and abilities. I found the texts a bit difficult for this age group and am using book 3 and 4 with much older children than age 9-10 or 10-11
