Works well
I installed this in my fridge, and it works great.Installation: relatively easy, but you will need tools to push the screws through the internal wall of the freezer. I used a drill to make a hole, then used an electronic screwdriver to push the screws in. It wasn’t difficult per se, but was nerve-racking to put holes in my new freezer.Startup: it took some time for my ice maker to start making ice. I think it took a few cycles to push the air from the line. I discarded the first few batches of ice as instructed. I also turned the freezer’s temperature down a notch, and it sped up the rate at which the ice freezes.Ice cubes: They are a nice medium size, larger than I was expecting. There are no off flavors— the ice tastes good.Ice quantity: this is a small ice maker. It takes ~3-4 hours to make 10 medium sized ice cubes. For my household’s usage, this is plenty, and I appreciate it not taking tons of space in the freezer. If you’re looking for oodles and oodles of ice, you might be disappointed by the output.

Easy to installa nd it just works
Not the most expensive or extravagant device but it's not made for the most expensive refrigerators. Perfectly fine to fit the need. Takes a few minutes to install and following the direction, works as advertised. Produces an acceptable amount of ice in a 24 hour period. Glad I chose this icemaker.

Works great - BE CAREFUL ON THE INSTALL
This works great and much cheaper than available at other stores. We purchased to install on a new fridge we purchased. The ice is smaller than I'm used to but works great. I will say this - BE CAREFUL to make sure the water inlet is installed correctly. When you slide the unit into place the water inlet fits into whats best described as a slide that flows the water into the tray. I screwed that up and the water inlet went under the slide. This was in a rental unit we're fixing up so the property set vacant for a week after installing it. After coming back I had a 4" thick ice block in the bottom of the freezer. Good on Frigidaire for having some quality door seals that held that water in and didn't ruin the brand new floors we had installed. Took 8 hours and heat gun to clear that block out. Fixed it (installed it correctly) and has worked great ever since.

Works well, instructions vague, a lot of small ice shards are mixed in with cubes
This ice maker is working well. I installed it but had to go to YouTube for installation instructions as the printed instructions were vague. There are also a lot of ice shards in with the cubes, perhaps the molds are being over filled a bit? Still easier than making ice cubes from standard ice cube trays.

Was it east to install? Yeah. But, ...
Was it easy to install? Yeah. But, it's a joke. In over 5 days of running with an average freezer temperature of 0°F it never came close to producing 1 pound of ice cubes let alone the clamed output. And speaking of ice cubes, this ice cube maker makes cubes of 1"x1"x1.5" no where close to a normal ice cube (see the picture). And, that size in not useful.I won't be returning the unit, as I broke the power plug trying to remove it. I couldn't figure out the latching. I just write it off as a learning experience.

It works. Takes some messing with it.
I hooked it up. Super simple.... but no ice. Verified I didn't mess anything up..... waited a day.... and still no ice? Maybe I got a dud. I'll be sending it back I guess?UPDATE. Unplugged fridge for 30 minutes and let it sit overnight and it made some ice. It does not make a lot at once and takes a few days to get really going. But it does work.

It takes three four days before the ice cubes fill the tray.
The ice maker works great!! The instructions need to be printed larger! I was able to find a video on YouTube that was helpful.

Works great
Got this installed last week, easy enough if your the least bit handy. Hardest part for me was fishing the new waterline through the basement ceiling to my RO machine. For those of you complaining about small ice cubes, check out this copy and paste below from the fridgidair web site, worked for me, take the top cover off and you will find your service button to the right of the power button, need a small implement to push it:The factory default for the cubes is set at small, but it is adjustable depending on how you like your ice! We would be happy to assist you by providing instructions. To change the size settings, hold the POWER and TEST/SERVICE buttons together for 3 seconds. The POWER button will blink to show the current setting. It will blink one to indicate small, twice to indicate medium, three times to indicate large, and four blinks is extra large. Press the TEST/SERVICE button to advance to the next level. When at extra large, the next press goes back to small. I hope this information helps!

Works Perfectly
Easy to install and works great. This has been running for 5 months with no issues so far. The ice cubes are quite small which are perfect for filling a glass or for crushing in a blender. Takes about 48 hours to fill the bin. Transfer into ziploc bags so the bin can keep filling and you’ll never run out of ice again.

Worth the money!
It’s easy to use and ice is great to have all the time. It’s a little loud the first batch of ice as it hits the container but quieter as it fills up. Easy for my husband to install.
