Real life tips; not a bunch of theory
I always appreciate books that are brimming with someone's personal experience, as opposed to overflowing with a bunch of never-tested rhetoric. Dave Kahle delivers a book where it is clear he knows first-hand what he is talking about.What I really like about this book -- it's not a quick fix. I hate "quick fix" books because they rarely fix anything. Instead, Dave reiterates throughout that the more you make even minor adjustments, the more success you will have.Dave worked as a salesperson in a variety of industries before launching his consulting career more than 20 years ago. What he shows in this book is that it doesn't matter who you are or what you are selling, what matters is refining the principles that apply regardless of what you sell. I like that.Another thing -- the book is very personable. He shares real-life examples of where these principles have worked, as well as his own personal reflections on his experiences. I'm a big proponent in continual learning. If you are too (and I am guessing you are), then get this book. You will glean tips that you don't want miss!

Great things for ANYONE to remember! We are all salespeople!
Sell ice to Eskimos? With the tips in this book, you might be able to do it! Dave has done it again. He puts the practical tips for selling in the hands of everyone. Let's face it, no matter who you are, you are a salesperson. Even if you are trying to persuade your spouse, your kids, your friends to "buy into" your ideas, you're in the selling mode. Dave reveals how to make it happen. As a consultant to those who are involved in education marketing or selling to schools, I can say to you, buying this book is a "no brainer" And be sure to read Dave's great advice on the SellingToSchools.com web site which is packed with free K-12 market sales and marketing advice.
