I decided to wait a year before rating this product. I'm very, very happy with this straightener. My hair is straight with natural body and because I have virgin hair (meaning free of bleaching, chemicals, or harsh products), I was cautious as to whether I even wanted to buy a hair straightener because I was concerned my hair could become damaged or brittle from using one. However, since I've seen on other people with another kind of styling you get from a hair straightener which I really liked the look so I thought, "well lets try it." Some of the things I really love about this straightener is the settings. I lower my setting to 270 degrees and it quickly heats up. I mean quick. Since there are times when I prefer not to wash my hair in the morning and instead straighten it for a quick hairdo, I can style in less than 10 minutes and it looks great! Which is 30 minutes faster than washing my hair then styling with blow dryer. I highly recommend this straightener. I purchased this product myself and this is my personal review.

The media could not be loaded.  I was kind’ve iffy about buying these two cause there were a few reviews saying people received their iron used and something about it getting to hot. I received both of them brand new. The highest it goes is up to 450 for both of them and I do agree they do get extremely hot but I personally think the hotter it is the faster your hair will straighten out especially with people with think hair. I have thin hair so I put it up to 350 and it did justice on my hair. I have no complaints on either of them. I also recommend putting on some heat protecting spray or oil before using the flat iron. So far I’ve used both Flat irons twice already and they both do their job very well. I definitely highly recommend both of them for sure

The product is very good, in general terms it leaves my hair looking good. However, I think that for someone who has slightly curlier or thicker hair, they would have to go through the iron several times and this could deteriorate the condition of their hair.

It gets really hot doesn’t straighten hair as well as I like. Curling is great.

OCALISS Flat Iron Hair Curler. I saw a lot of complaints, one of them said the iron didn't meet completely when closed. Mine had a very slight gap, which after putting my hair in it, it didn't take much pressure to close it. I was impressed with how quickly it heated up. The only thing I don't like is if I unplug it, then I have to reset the heat to where it was before. The controls could have been a little bigger for easier adjustment. I like that the cord doesn't tangle as it turns at the iron base, so I never have this long tangled cord. I would buy it again.

Digital control and display, nice.!! Heats up quickly. Use to seal mylar bags, worked perfectly. Not sure about hair cause im bald.

My hair is very hard to curl and I love how easy this is to use to make my hair have curl and wear it straight if I wish too.

I love this iron because it curves so I don’t get that line with other flat irons I’ve used.
