Good piece of gear.
I thought that being cheaper might mean a lessor quality product but I think I was wrong. This item is quite rugged and sturdy. One thing I would mention, however, is that because the two supports use the separate rails (one using the front rail and the other the rear rail) the mounting of the miter saw on the brackets is important.I first mounted the saw so the mounting bracket lever was facing me - towards the front face of the saw.It transpired that due to the saw then sitting on the stand a little ways forward, the sliding support only worked to support a long piece on the left side roller with the right side roller too far behind the plane of the miter fence, therefore not giving any support to a long length of wood.I had to remount the saw with the mounting support brackets levers facing the back of the saw. There was just enough room on the mounts to do this on my Ryobi 7.25" sliding compound miter saw so it is now mounted further back on the support. In this way both rollers come into play for complete wood support.Pleased with my purchase.

Didn’t expect this...VERY PLEASED!
VERY IMPRESSED! I use my tools and depend upon study and reliable equipment, THE TACK-LIFE IS JUST THAT! From the awesome powder coated metal to the rubber grommets on the end of the adjustment knobs this thing is an AWESOME value for the $. It comes almost fully assembled and the rest of the assembly requires only your thumbs and insight. If you don’t know how to put this together you have no business on a miter saw...The metal is light but thicker than I thought it would be. The bench itself is VERY sturdy! I weigh 255 and it handled me just fine and dandy. If you get one you will find it well packaged, organized and clean. To say the least I’m impressed...VERY IMPRESSED!

Why didn’t I buy one YEARS ago?
Review by Quilt Lady’s hubby;I have NO idea why I didn’t buy one of these years ago. For YEARS I’ve set my saw on the ground and used blocks of wood under the ends of long boards or had it on my portable work bench and fiddled with sawhorses. This thing does away with all that nonsense! I’m not a pro so won’t be using it everyday so it has to fold up small enough for me to store away when not in use. It went together easily although I did mount my Dewalt 12” miter saw on the 2 mounting clamps backwards at first. This put the table out of alignment with the stand, but it was easy enough to correct. In use I found it to be plenty stable enough outside on the ground. There’s a little bit of flex in the legs to adapt to small unevenness. It had no problems supporting an 8’ PT 2x4, but the 8’ PT 4x4 was too heavy with it all on one side while I squared up the end which didn’t surprise me. Had to use my stand alone roller support on the far end. I’ve read where some have complained about the locking screw knobs digging into the support rails. These had hard rubber tips on them (see pictures) and seemed to keep the rails and supports in place. The saw locks onto the frame rails tightly via the locking mounts and comes off easily too although my mind wants the release levers to be on the side facing the operator vs on the back side. I like how I can remove the roller brackets, fold the legs up so it fits nicely underneath a workbench. Unlike some others I looked at the rollers and stop for repeated cuts are 1 piece. You simply raise the roller a little higher to utilize the stop.

Great stand - better than a lot of others
I had recently picked up a miter saw and after working with it on the ground or a make-shift bench a few times I wanted to get a better stand for it. I originally wanted something I could leave the saw attached to and then wheel it around. After some debate and seeing what it costs to purchase a stand with wheels, I elected to go with this stand. It's super-lightweight so it really doesn't need wheels. It's also easier to store the saw and stand when they are not attached. The quick releases make this super-easy and quick to mount or un-mount the saw.The stand is stable and pretty quick to setup or tear down. I had no problems attaching the quick-release levers to my DeWalt miter saw. The rollers on the extensions are really nice, as opposed to some other stands that do not have rollers. It does not have an adjustable foot, which I could see being convenient if you were working on unlevel ground. The biggest problem I have is trying to remember which legs to fold up first. If you want to spend a lot more money, you might get more solid stand with some additional features, but you are definitely going to pay for it. For my money, this is a great stand.I had almost purchased another stand from a large discount tool store, but they were out of stock. I'm glad I bought this one instead.

Sturdy and value for money.
This miter saw stand is portable, sturdy, and value for money. A lot of thoughts is put into the build.I am not a pro but I do enjoy "diy". The stand is sufficient for my needs.I have a 10" Makita and the mounting holes all lined up.Like other reviewers have said, the correct way to mount your saw on it, is to make sure the lever trigger is facing away from you(in other words, mount it such that the lever trigger and the rear of your saw are facing same direction). This way, the rollers will all line up ready for your cuts.I also like the color contrast between my saw and this stand.Overall, for less than 100 bucks, I'll buy it again if need be.

Stand vs 65lb Saw.
UPDATE: TK-STORES went ABOVE and Beyond to Makes this right and ensure I was a satisfied customer. Thank you TK-STORE. OLD POST Follows: I bought this for a Dewalt 779 Miter Saw that's about 65 pounds and for me I was a little concerned about how the Saw is mounted and the braces that lock the saw in place. So, I asked for a refund, but it seems like I am getting the run around. The stand itself if pretty sound, easy to store and portable, but not for a 65 pound saw. And moving it with the saw mounted requires 2 people. The braces that the saw mounts to seems sound, but if one is not fully attached, that's a safety hazard I prefer not tp experience. But I can alway us it for a horse. But I seriously DON'T like how TK-Stores handled the return. I will avoid ordering where they are the vendor in the future.
