Personally, I love tools that are so exceptionally well made that they can outlive you because I am not keen on buying them every now and then due to poor quality. If you buy cheaper tools that are of poorer quality at the end of the day you end up spending more money than if you just bought higher quality equipment once, at least that is my experience.When it comes to German brands they are hard to beat in quality and performance, I just love the way they manufacture things in Germany, they always strive to achieve the highest quality possible.The design of this torque wrench is quite interesting because it can either be used as a cross wrench or classic torque wrench, in both modes, it provides a precise torque application. The benefit of having the cross wrench is that you can use your foot to unscrew the bolt that is tightly secured which is very useful as you are able to apply much more force by kicking the tool rather than using your hands.This torque wrench is really quality made, it is made out of Chromium-vanadium steel, which is the best material when it comes to tools because of great material properties such as tensile strength and anti-corrosion. The wrench works smoothly, with an easy to adjust torque setting. The all-steel construction body is very thick so it won't bend no matter how hard you lean on it, and the plastic handle provides some grip. Because of the dense materials and product thickness, the wrench weighs around 1442 grams. The length of the long bar is 49 cm and 23.5cm for the short one.The wrench is calibrated and has a certificate of calibration that confirms +-4% tolerances so it is in accordance with DIN 6789 ISO. I love the fact that this wrench provides a wide range of torque settings from 70 up to 170 Nm which is intended for tougher jobs, however, it cannot apply precise torque for the jobs that require less torque. The wrench comes with three sockets (17, 19, and 21 mm) that should cover most of the car/van bolts.Overall, this is an excellent tool that can be quite useful for those jobs that require a lot of torque, and I believe that the price is reasonable at £57.98, given its quality, tight tolerance, certificate of calibration, fact that there aren't many similar tools on the market and the longevity of use I expect from this tool.

This is a good quality torque wrench set, which is perfect for keeping in the car. It's heavy duty and feels sturdy when using it. Ideal for tightening and untightening wheel nuts. It gives a little click when it reaches the required tension, so you can be reassured that whatever you've just tightened is safe. It's simple and easy to use, and comes in it's own plastic case to store it in. Can't comment on value for money as there's no price listed, but it is a good quality set.

This is a fantastic torque wrench, designed specifically for wheel nuts and similar applications on cars. The nuts on my Car need to be done up to 90NM, something which most people don't bother checking when they change a wheel or take it off to replace the brakes. I've taken to using my old torque wrench when it comes to tightening them, however it's a traditional shaped one, so isn't the most practical to use on a wheel. This torque wrench, effectively, doubles up as a crossed tyre spanner, making it easy to loosen and spin the nuts off.I've only briefly tested it by spinning off a couple of nuts on a front wheel and torquing them back up, however it has made the task so easy. I'm now looking forward to when I have to do a minor repair on my suspension shortly, as taking the wheel off will be so easy with this.This is so easy to use, feels sturdy and makes light work of undoing and torquing back up wheel nuts. I can't recommend it more highly.

I decided to invest a little more, this S&R Cross Wrench Torque Wrench Set 70-170 NM 1/2 ", shaped in the style of a Cross Wrench that is of pretty good quality. Because the cheap ones I bought so far they have been out of calibration in less than a year of minor use, it is more expensive to calibrate them than to buy a quality one.We tested the 1/2 '' brand torque wrench and it is almost exactly accurate. Well built, sturdy, comfortable to use and comes in a good plastic box, which protects it from dust and blows. I recommend them.

This set comes in it's own box with makes it great for storing straight in the boot of the car and has the three most common size sockets encloed in this set, 17mm, 19mm and 21mm.Love that it let's you know when the right tightness is reached with a click. It is so easy to use and definitely replaced the basic set that I have my my boot at the moment.

This is an absolute champion of a toolExtremely well made totally solidseems up for any job i have used it for so farand being at home a lot i have been using this on 2 cars changing the brake pads so taking the wheels of quite a few times to check them afteri don't think i could go back to a standard wrench now this one has the torque settings so i know the nuts are at the correct tightness and not play the guessing gameso easy to use even for a beginner to car DIY like me

Really solid tool and easy to use . I believe it is a must have for car owners. We have 2 cars, so hubbly thought me how to change tyres. It is defo much essier with this friend.

A very good torque wrench. Easy to use and grips well. Comes in a handy protective case for storage. Very good value too.
