Apple Pie Memories Scor-It Cathie Allan's Position-It

When I use a stamp-a-ma-jig type positioner, I always end up knocking it out of position. With the Position-It, I can't do that.The grid on the base is also really helpful for keeping things straight.I have learned the importance of taping down the item I'm stamping on. If I don't, I knock the card out of position. Two strips of blue painter's tape live on the Position-It so I don't skip that vital step. I've also added "Cathie handles" to my acrylic blocks to make them easier to use with the Position-It. (There's a YouTube video so show what I'm talking about).One disadvantage I've found is that it takes fiddling around to get the card in just the right position to start with. But, because of the tape and the pegged-in-place outer positioner, once it's there, it's rock solid!

With this device, I can place the stamp where I want on the page. If I need to stagger the image, there are markings to help me do that. I like using this when making cards. It allows for repeatability without marking up the page and measuring with each sheet. I mark on the device with removeable tape and can place my stamp accurately each time.

Had to return it because one of dowels didnt fit. Wish the could have sent me a part and I would have kept it.

I bought this stamp positioning tool from a different web-site because at the time it was out of stock on Amazon. I have found it to be incredible at how easy it is to do layered and repeat stamping in the same exact spot. It operates and lasts much better than the high-priced hinged-lidded stamp positioner. It also works better than the small positioners that easily get knocked out of place.
