Looks quite nice on the ceiling, but the price / quality shows. I have it in home office and it’s fine for that but wouldn’t out in a main room.I found it a little fiddly getting the shade on once the frame was fixed

Really pleased with this purchase, lovely shade easy to fit has a really neat fitting mechanism which makes it easy to screw flush to the ceiling, top marks!

This would be suitable for a large room as it houses 2 bulbs (not included). The bulbs would need to be screw in E27 type which are very common to find. The lamp would take up to a maximum of 2 x 40 watt bulbs, so quite powerful LED bulbs could be used. The style of the lamp would be more suitable for a modern home, rather than an older style home. As our home is quite old this lamp would look a little out of place.The lamp looks to be well made and easy to fit. The base is first installed by screwing to the ceiling or wall. Once electrical connection is made the main lamp surround can be fitted, lastly the circular opaque lamp cover/lens can be fitted.This give good all round light coverage as the side of the lamp allows light to shine through. I ordered the white lamp which really does give off a lot of all round light. This is a simple light fitting and was perfect for my requirements. I was possibly a little disappointed initially by how basic it is but then it is cheap. Simple is always a good thing (well mostly).I was able to fit this easily and the fixture was performing well and outlasted a few bulb changes. However on the most recent bulb change I noticed that the diffuser is deteriorating and crumbling to bits. This has lasted for three years and I have been happy with it during that time but I kind of hoped it would last longer than this. I suppose for this price that is what you get..I also got a smaller one at the same time and that one seems good so far.Hope this is of help.

I really like this light shade fitting, it’s low profile, chic and diffuses the light well in the room, as well as being a nice taupe colour, which goes with most modern decor. When it arrived it came in a very sturdy well packed box, so no fear of receiving a dented shade - phew!In the box there is the shade with a white metal ceiling fitting. Also included in the outer box packaging is the large round white diffuser for fitting onto the shade. First you need to fit the metal ceiling plate (after turning the power off!), which requires you to remove the in situ pendant fitting, thread the wire (shorten if required) and attach to the connector blocks, all very straightforward. The fitting has room for two bulbs, so you can have it as bright or dark as meets you need, as long as you don’t exceed the maximum wattage 2 x 40 watts, standard E27 screw light bulbs). You then attach the diffuser to the shade and mount on the fitting using the metal wire fastening system.When lit it gives a nice wide diffused light, with al light concentrated through the diffuser with it being a flush ceiling mount. This fitting is keenly priced for the quality at £29.99 (at the point of review), as it is well made and looks very chic on the ceiling. Nothing not to like, so five stars from me.

Nice sized light. This taupe shade is quite big and fits on the base easily. The base fits straight onto the ceiling and the shade fits onto that. It's a low profile shade that looks really modern and understated. I love the colour as it goes with anything. Highly recommended.

Das B.K. Deckenlicht habe ich vergangenes Jahr für einen ca. 20qm großen Raum gekauft und der Ersteindruck der gelieferten Teile war schon sehr positiv.Alles ist sicher und gut verpackt gewesen, dazu liegt eine ausführliche Montageanleitung bei. Neben der Lampe liegt das gesamte benötigte Zubehör zum Anbringen an die Decke bei (ausgenommen die Werkzeuge natürlich). Die Verkabelung ist sauber und sicher ausgeführt - hier sollte kein großes Potential für Verletzungen vorhanden sein. Es darf dennoch nicht unterschätzt werden, dass eine hohe Spannung anliegt und gewisse Grundkenntnisse bei der Montage vorhanden sein müssen!Die Verankerung in der Decke ist über drei Dübel gesichert und erscheint auch für längere Zeiträume ausreichend stabil, denn das Gewicht der gesamten Konstruktion mit zwei e27 Leuchtmitteln ist nicht besonders hoch. Die Grundplatte mit der Halterung der Birnen ist im äußeren Ring plan und ingesamt ohne erkennbare Mängel, sodass die Optik nach der Montag sauber ist. Der Boden ist aus einem dünnen Plastik, das das Licht etwas dämpft, dennoch ist ein Raum der genannten Größe gut ausgeleuchtet. Der einfach zu montierende Schirm hält sicher und dämpft das Licht zu Seite deutlich. Er ist aus einem dünnen Stoff und ist für mein Empfinden schön anzusehen. Die Reinigung von Staub ist einfach möglich, da keine komplexen Formen vorliegen und die Lampe insgesamt abgeschlossen ist.Insgesamt kann ich das Deckenlicht empfehlen - der Gesamteindruck, beginnend beim Aufbau bis hin zum montierten Endprodukt, ist ein sehr guter und man merkt, dass hier ein vollständig durchdachtes Produkt angeboten wird. Auch ist das Design ansprechend und so lässt sich die Lampe gut in moderne Wohnungen integrieren.
