I used this to help replace my brake pads
It is very sturdy, and easy to use. Save a lot of money for replacing my brake pads.

Works as advertised
Has worked great for my last 3 brake jobs I just wish the red knob would come off so you could attached a ratchet if needed. The brake cylinders on my Silverado were pretty stiff and it was fairly difficult to twist that small knob. It worked easily on my Tahoe and wife’s Honda HRV.

Great little tool. Wish I knew about it year ago.
Somehow this little tool escaped my set for many years. Having it now is definitely a godsend for doing brake jobs.

Used on a 2017 Lexus RX
This disc brake pad spreader looks good and works good. was very happy with the quality. the mechanism worked well. the handle to turn (red knob) was comfortable to use without issues. I was able to change the front and rear brakes on my lexus rx350 suv. this was one of the more affordable options, but it does the job and is very durable and works.

For casual brake mechanic..
First was mad that bolt was not long enough to push back piston - then realized that you should put the old brake bad on top off piston and then put spreader on.Used it to push back the pistons of all four wheels - seems sturdy enough and didn't break.Prob should apply a bit of brake grease on the threads but works fine.
