I like the brightness of the flashlight.

This is a great light to have at the ready. The magnet is strong and the lumen output is excellent. The light's body is built tough, the only weak link I see is the plastic covering the actual LEDS but so far it has held up to my abuse. Having 400 Lumens at your disposal is a super value for the $18 price tag. I can light an entire room during a power outage, light the beach at night and stick it to my truck for extra bed lighting.There are 1000 uses for this light and there are 1000 lights like this one. In fact, I always see lights like these on the end caps at places light Walmart. The difference is that this thing is built rock solid! For less than $20 it's a no-brainer. To some, the light might be too heavy (7.25oz) for a BOB and I obviously wouldn't recommend it for an EDC. For a truck or car, this light is perfect. Also, this light makes a great addition to your household tool kit or emergency preparedness kit. The 2 modes of brightness are stellar, the 3rd which is a red blinking emergency light takes it or leave it. Orange would have been a better color IMHO because it signals caution. Some people freak out when they see blinking red lights and panic.This is a very welcomed addition to my lighting lineup, everyone should have one of these for that SHTF moment!

WHATTA DEAL!!!! I am a flashlight-a-holic. I have at least 23 different flashlights. THIS one is the best bargain & quality I have ever received. I ordered it due to it taking AA batteries. I had many AA batteries, rechargeable, in stock. Light output is super. They claim 4.5 hours use on high out put setting. And 15 hours on low output setting. Even half of that would have been OK with me.Push once = high outputPush again =- low outputpush again = flashing redPush again = offThe ONLY thing I would change is to eliminate having to go through the flashing red to turn it off. I will probably never need or use the red flashing function. It would be great to have the red available, but require a special sequence of delay in order to get it to flash.The negative battery contact appears to be gold plated. There is an "O" ring to make it more water resistant. I bought two and I will buy more after I write this review.Note: I compared the light output with alkaline AA batteries to the second flashlight with Eneloop brand rechargeable batteries. I did not notice any difference in brightness. I don't think you can go wrong with this light. It is beefy and heavy in construction. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT

Yes this light will light up a good sized area. The quality is high standard.

These are nice lights. I have two. Magnetic base is very convenient -- just stuck one to the refrigerator during a recent power failure and it was plenty of light to get around the kitchen even on its dimmer setting. I had a defective one where the batteries stuck inside and I destroyed it trying to get them out for replacement. Just check that when you receive it and return it if all three batteries don't slip in and out easily. Batteries last a long time in normal use.

Missing a belt clip (Big Larry2 has a clip!). Has a gasket on the battery access, so why none on the LED. Prob NOT water proof; maybe water resistant. Will give this away and get another Little Larry! Clear plastic lens is probably will break if dropped on concrete.

Although I own at least five flashlights of widely different configurations and lumens, since buying this Nebo, I go for it 90% of the time, even when it is a room or two away. It is BRIGHT and spreads the light more widely and evenly than the others; it is small enough to fit in my jeans pocket; and it has proven robust--surviving a 7' drop. The one downside is that the handsome satin finish is slippery; but I corrected that by putting a few wraps of duct tape, in a crinkled manner, about the grip. Great purchase!

This is an amazing product. I work for a trucking company and we gave these out for Christmas to all of our drivers. The magnetic bottom allows drivers to tie down loads in the dark without having the hassle of trying to hold their phone (flashlight app), or a flashlight. They get done faster and with less frustration. Also, while waiting in the dark and fog, they can turn the blinking red light on so people know where they are, and just stick it on the side of their truck. Waiting to get loaded/unloaded is sometimes a long process, and it helps to not have the driver be forgotten out in the dark. Not to mention breaking down at night. I bought one for the guys in my family, because it is also great for working on cars. I am free from the dreaded "Can you come hold this light for me?". And who doesn't love telling someone they are bringing Big Larry over?

Okay so this thing is dope. I had to use it on the second brightest setting, because the brightest would blind people I walked up to in my Functional Polaroid Costume. This thing was the light comprising the "Flash" part. As advertised, the battery lasted all day. In fact it's still hasn't dimmed from what I can tell. Great light, it's definitely intended to be used like a floodlight for a work area, and I'm keeping it for use that way.

We bought one of these in a store for a gift. I bought one for my husband and my son ordered 2 more. Great portable light - bright, functional and the magnetic base is extremely useful.

Great light! Bought one at a store, then couldn't find any more. Found them on Amazon so ordered 3 more. Strong magnet and very bright light. Seem very durable.

Best work light for the price. Very good quality and very bright. Battery last a long time.
