Works for me
Transform an LR44 to PX625, but the voltage is not reduced. It works fine for my purpose.

No brainer if you're a vintage camera buff!
Does exactly what it needs to do, insert your LR44 or 1.45 v hearing aid battery and you're all set. NOT a voltage reducer!

Fits perfectly!
Use available batteries in light meter that uses mercury batteries no longer available. The only downside is that it does not reduces the voltage, but the difference is small, and easily compensated wit meter settings.

Great, but rather pricey
These will do the job. Beware, they do not reduce voltage, they only adapt the replacement batteries as far as their size. Very expensive for what it is.

Necessary for certain film cameras
If you own certain vintage film cameras (such as the Minolta SRT series) the original batteries that powered the meters in those cameras are no longer available. The solution is to purchase an adapter such as these which, when used with the proper newer batteries, provide the correct voltage for accurate meter readings. The combination works perfectly in my SRT-202.

Work well/good price
MR-9 non-step down adapter. Use: For MR-4 Leicameter modified for 1.5v batteries instead of original but now banned 1.35v Mercury bats. These adapters permit use of readily available Silver Oxide 386 bats. Fit well/readouts accurate. The SR-386/adapter combo works fine and it’s definitely preferable to the 625a battery alternative which is alkaline, not silver oxide. Very pleased.

Vintage battery adapter
The light meter in my old film cameras would not work properly because the battery they require is no longer being made. This adapter makes the work again with modern easy to find watch batteries.
