ABSOLUTELY BLOW AWAY! Must Own for my fellow bald brethren and silky smooth sisters
Alright. I know this thing looks like some "Late Night Infomercial" sketch on "Saturday Night Live", but this is the Real Deal Holyfield.First off... For new owners, or people thinking about making the leap: Give yourself a few shaves to get used to the slightly different technique needed to take full advantage of the Omnishaver. Just remember that during your first few shaves, this is going to feel different not having to pull the razor up off of your head while you go back and forth. Also remember that slow is smooth, and smooth is fast. The speed will show up if you just work on perfecting your technique and taking your time and go slow. Everyone's head is different, and you might find that you need short back and forth strokes for the top and sides of your head, but need longer strokes for the back of your head.Second... Be ready to press harder than you think you might need to. In order to keep the blades sharp you are stropping (i.e. sharpening) the blade against your hair/stubble/skin every time you drag the non-shaving blade over it. Plus, since you are pressing the blades to your head harder than a regular razor, you will get a closer shave. I also personally take my off hand and stretch the skin to take any slack out of it. This also allows the razor to get a closer shave.Alright, now that is out of the way, why do I recommend the Omnishaver? It is just the solution to the problem that I have spent a few years looking to solve. I have tried all sorts of manner of razors, trying to find the easiest and fastest way to bring my dome to a nice shiny and smooth place. I never found it, so I had resigned myself to buzzing my head with my Wahl clippers, and then spending 30 minutes in the shower shaving my head. I just didn't have the time (or money for the water bill) to do this every couple of days. I just accepted that every other week I would take care of it.My first day with the Omnishaver, I nearly cut that time down to a third of the normal time it took. Normally, I had about 8 different angles that I needed to shave in due to the various directions that my hair would grow. Because of the opposing razor design of the Omnishaver, that reduced the number of angles to 4. That already would cut my time in half. Add in the fact by having to press the blade harder than a regular razor, and I was getting a much closer shave. That means I needed way less passes. I also knew ahead of time that getting in to tight places like the skin fold/bump area located on the back of your head where most people have an occipital protuberance, as well as the tops of the ears was basically not going to happen, I didn't worry about getting to close or trying to get it too cleanly. All in all I would say it took me about 10 minutes to have my head smooth from all directions. I then hit up the occipital protuberance and the tops of my ear area with a regular razor once I got out of the shower.I tried using the Omnishaver again 2 days later, and I probably took 8 minutes to shave. I fully expect it to take 6 minutes the next time I shave. A few more sessions after that and I might be able to start getting to the same speed shaves that I see other people claiming. And for the ladies... my wife loves this as well. She said that it goes much faster than her Venus razor, and gets a closer and smoother shave on her legs.*************************Update - 09/25/2020*************************Alright, so I have the Omnishaver for about a month. Not sure if it's just me, or if it is the Omnishaver blades, but I have no idea how people are getting several months of usage out of this thing. I shave my head every other day, and this thing right now is dull enough that it is missing hairs, and not shaving as close as it should be.Typically, when I used a regular 5 bladed razor, it would last me about a week or two worth of shaves before I needed to strop it on my leather belt to put the edge back on it. Finally, after about a month of usage of shaving my head every other day, I would switch to a new blade.Since I basically had to get out of the shower and pop these blades out and attempt to strop them like I did with my traditional style razor (which didn't work), I am deducting one star. Sure, these might self-strop and keep me from having to strop them once a week, but finally they are just too dull to do a good job.I put in brand new blades this morning and hot damn what a difference it makes. I had way less passes required, and was basically back down to a 2 minute shave in the shower. With the duller blades, it was taking about 10 minutes of passes and then hunting with my hand for stubble and doing several passes again.I am going to try and use the old rubbing alcohol trick on these blades and see how long they last this time.Maybe it's due to the thick nature of my hair? Back when I was younger and I used to shave my face, I ran in to the same issues, which is why I ended up switching to a safety razor so that I could use actual razor blades, and then store the blade in a jar of alcohol when not in use.Maybe the blade quality went down when they added the option to replace the blades. Who knows?Either way, I am going to give this new blade a month's worth of usage and see if near the end of October I don't have a different story to tell.Don't get me wrong, the Omnishaver definitely is the fastest shaver I have found, but the idea of self-stropping blades and razors that can last for months has not happened for me. I'm hoping to stretch out the use of the razors by at least 2 months to really get my value's worth.

It works.
I was cautious after some reviews of people having shredded heads. I don’t know. Maybe they are soft and delicate. I used this thing recklessly and didn’t even get a single cut and it gave me a bald a$$ head. The only thing I’ll say is I got a razor to do the touch ups on the side burns. The rest? I waved this thing around like it was a pool noodle, no cuts, no burns, made me bald.

Close and Fast Shave, but company shares info w/ 3rd parties
Just used it for the first time - these are my initial impressions. If my opinion changes I will update the review.Pros: Followed the instructions. Razor shaves close and the whole process is really fast. This time took me about 5 minutes, but now that I "get it" I have no doubt next time will be less than half that. No nicks, no razor burn. What more could you ask for?Cons: Shave Butter - not really a fan of the tea tree smell. It reminds me of most horse scrubs (smells like a clean horse, lol). Also, the OmniShaver was kinda hard to clean for me. Ended up using my kitchen sink sprayer to blast the hair out of the blades.Unknown: No clue how long this will stay sharp before I need to replace it. 5 shaves? 50 shaves? No idea.Bottom Line: I shave my head every other day. If I get a couple months out of it, I will certainly buy another razor. The shave is close and incredibly fast and easy. I will probably just buy the razor by itself next time and skip the 'Shave Butter'.----------Update 2019-05-04, Rephrased 2019-05-06:This was a 5-star review despite me not liking the "Shave Butter" - the razor IS very effective. Now its a 4-star review for asking for likes on social media in exchange for discounts. I give you $, you provide a product or service - the end. If I leave a review or 'like' its not for a discount or free products. That is buying reviews/likes - those reviews can't be trusted, the reviewer loses credibility, and the merchant loses trust. Now I don't think I can recommend this to other people outside of Amazon for fear people will think I'm promoting your razor in exchange for discounts. Also, did you really share my info with a third-party (JumpSend)? I wasn't made aware of this before the transaction on Amazon. Who else did you share my info with?----------Update 2019-06-11Early last week I started to notice a good bit of pulling, so I guess the blades are starting to dull. I got roughly 15 smooth shaves out of it, and managed 3 more not so smooth shaves. Pretty good compared to the Moto where I get about 7 shaves per cartridge. The HB4 refills for the Moto run about 3 bucks each (12-13 bucks per 4-pack at wally-world), but it takes me 2-3 times as long to shave with the Moto vs the OmniShaver. The end result is about the same (I can't really tell a difference). If I decided to stay with OmniShaver, I would definitely purchase the classic 2-pack (no "heat plate") to save a little next time. However, when it comes to disposable things, I don't mind a little extra time to save a few bucks. If OmniShaver comes out with a way to replace the blades instead of the entire unit in the future, I will probably revisit OmniShaver - it IS the best head razor I've used. But for now, I'm going to return to the Moto. I DO hope Omnishaver is successful and manages to get its razors into stores like wally-world.----------

Absolutely worth it! Saves me lots of time.
I wish I had come across this earlier. Previously I was shaving my head with a regular cartridge razor and it would take me 45 minutes to an hour to shave my head. With the Omnishaver, I can now shave my head in 10 to 15 minutes. I recommend this to everyone!

Totally worth the price!
I bought the Omnishaver at the recommendation of a colleague. At first I was quite skeptical - running a razor over my scalp was something I'd never done before and I was hesitant because of the highly vascular nature of the scalp and nicks/cuts.Fortunately, my fears were misplaced! The Omnishaver does a terrific job as long as you follow their directions. Small amount of their recommended 'Shave Butter' on your damp scalp and off you go! Takes me maybe about 3-5 minutes to skin my scalp. I'll touch up here and there with a regular safety razor. Slap some aftershave and good to go!The double sided razor is mounted so it can move to match the contour of your scalp and it does a very good job. Just don't rinse it in water between strokes (tap it to clean and don't 'cross-shave' - the recomendation in to use back-to-front/front-to-back strokes with slights variations in the angle to cover your whole scalp.)Still on my first set of blades and it has been a month of shaving 2-3 times a week. For the price - its great!

It will cut chunk of your head skin with blood.
It was working fine at the beginning, after using 2 times. It took a time for shaving plus i got cut on my hair. I did back and forth without mistake. Chunck my head skin came off. I can’t recommend others having this shaver. It’s very dangerous.

Chief of all head shavers!!!
I have been wet shaving my head for the best part of 7-8 years and I had been using a Wilkinson Sword wet shave razor, predominantly made for face shaving. For 7-8 years each shave has taken me 10+ minutes to shave my head smooth. Many cuts have been made over that period, in all my head has been through some highs and lows with shaving. Then comes the wonder that is the Omnishaver. What a awesome piece of kit. From the very first shave to now on my 7th or 8th shave, with the same blades, I am.blown away, impressed by the speed in which this beauty shaves my head smooth and without cutting. It's a bit weird at first having to press firm whilst shaving. If I did that with my former razor I'd look like I'd stepped off the set of a slasher movie. The Omnishaver implores you to press and glide. It is amazing.I think I've got my shave down to 2 minutes so far. I do need to find a decent soap to use though. What I really like about the Omnishaver is that you can go over the same spot a number of times and no irritation. Plus the movable head deals with the lumps and bumps of my head with ease.Bald men of the world, throw away your electric shavers, do away with your Gillette and Wilkinson Sword wet razors. They will never beat this chief of head shavers from across the pond of the USA!!!Update 7th January 2020: I am now nearing my 50th head shave with this amazing tool and it is still shaving well and smooth. I cannot fault this product in any way. So good I got my wife one as part of her Christmas stocking. Her legs and pits are getting the best shave ever. She's chuffed with the little gem.Do not hesitate buying. It's well worth the money!!!Oh and message to Omnishave: if you need a badly for an advert, I'm your man!!!

Okay but not great
As stated by the other reviewer after many reviews and YouTube videos I decided to buy the omnishaver. It is okay but I feel it is overhyped. The shave is not the best and I found myself going over parts with a cartridge razor to get that baby smooth feel. At 1st thought I may just need to get the technique right but having used it for a good few weeks my opinion has not changed. Ps blades also feel a little dull already! Worth a go but to be honest I would save your money and just buy a good quality cartridge or safety razor. Good for a quick alternative but if you want a good quality shave I’d look elsewhere!

Simply the worst shave I've ever had.
I don't know what possessed me that made me buy this nonsense. I was looking for a good razor for head shaving and had read several reviews that suggested the omnishave.I have no idea if the makers of omnishave suggest it for head shaving or not, so I'm not blaming them in any way.If you are looking for a head shaving tool, stay away from this item, it's appalling, shaving with the growth does next to nothing, shaving against the growth is quite painful. I tried it on various hair lengths from several days growth to about 12 hours after a previous shave. It was useless on all lengths.I did briefly try it on my face & neck but only once as it was just as bad there.I hate waste but I'm just going to have to throw the thing away, along with the spare blades. At least it's recyclable. In conclusion - this was, by far, the worst shaving experience I've ever had.Cheers, Neil 😁

Disappointing product
After many YouTube videos with happy customers shaving their heads in 90 seconds, I was quite disappointed in the result: it takes pretty much the same time as a multi blade razor but the result is not the same, with patches of unshaven hair. Furthermore the blades edges get warped and dull after 7-8 shaves. I will not recommend this product.
