I have two AeroGardens and thought this would be a great focal point for my desk at work. The description was a little lacking, so I ordered this product hoping to love it.Pros: it’s small so it would be perfect for a desk or kid. The style is cool. It came with many accessories like different types of fertilizer. The lights are tucked in and probably look really cool turned on.Cons: it’s small so growing anything other than a succulent or similar sized plant would be nearly impossible. There is no pump so you would need to manually change water every few days. One fish would be the max you could get in this, so for someone wanting to really grow plants, this is not the unit for you.

This item didn’t come with any seeds so I had to order seeds separately and followed the directions exactly for over a month. No sprouting and the water turned green. I bought another kit that used mason jars and it worked much better. This was a waste of money and now I missed the return window

This has been so fun to have! I enjoy gardening and struggle to grow my own seeds before the season begins. This little system may not allow me to grow more than 3 seeds at a time, but it's 3 more than I could start without it. It takes up very little counter space and is very easy to use! Comes with a number of accessories including 2 small bottles of fertilizer, tweezers, and a few extra sponges and things to start your seeds in. I have grown tomatoes, a pepper plant, a basil plant, and broccoli from seed so far in this and they grow really well! Once they are strong enough and have enough roots, I transplant them to a bigger pot until they are ready to be put in my garden. As for cons, I'd prefer actual buttons to control on/off and brightness instead of by touch and the "bowl" is a bit flimsy so it should be handled with care when washing and changing water. Would recommend!

I bought this for my sister as a gift and I want to give a great review but it was missing the adaptor thing to power the device and the directions for putting together. So sad cuz she cannot use this now. Wish I could find a way to contact them so they could send me missing items and then I could write a good review

Having fresh herbs is so cool! They grow so well that I have a hard time keeping up with them. Honestly, there is NO room for a fish once you put the pods in. I put a fake one in mine and it's fine. Plus depending on what you grow and this is only good for herbs, it can be toxic to the fish. Fits anywhere.
