nice value pedals shame about the grease !!!
these pedals dont come pre-greased so you have to purchase grease which cost me £7.99 but with a well know bike shop it came to £5.99 with discount, the supplied syringe does not contain enough grease for one pedal let alone two which is a big dissapointment, this is my first pair of dmr pedals, i have bought other brands before which came greased, the pedals are heavy but im not bothered about saving weight on my mountain bike i just wanted to change the wellgo pedals as they looked rubbish and cheap. its a shame dmr dont grease the pedals before they send them to customersi guess it must be cost cutting or saving money.. i have put them on my mountain bike today so i will see how they cope with certain riding conditions, i will most likely replace these in a few years time if they wear out but i will grease them every 3 months. so overall the good things... 1)nice pedals and nice coulor i chose the black ones 2) good price/the bad things 1)not pre - greased 2)very heavy 3)the pins might do some serious damage to my shins if the pedal slips (but i will purchase some shin and knee guards) !! will give these pedals 4/10... would i recomend these pedals.. its up to you.. !!

Arrived with Dry Bearings
These arrived today (26-5-20) and they felt very rough when holding the spindle and spinning the pedal, they came with a small grease syringe so I thought I will grease them but on injecting the grease into the pedal I found out there wasn't enough grease to even lube one pedal, so very disappointing all round and will now decide if I send them back or keep them and buy more grease. Update to the lack of grease is, I greased them myself and done about 50 miles and the are now working fine

ok
Nice pedals, large pins for great grip. A little heavy but you get what you pay for. They do not come ready to go, you have to grease them up before using them but you only get given the smallest amount of grease in the syringe provided, that is not even enough for one pedal. Luckily I had grease in my tool box to finish the job. After filling with grease, the pedals spin slowly and feel quite rough rather than smooth, not sure this is how they should feel but my saint pedals don't feel like this.Like I said, you get what you pay for, they will do for now

good, but...
These pedals may well be excellent and last me a life time, but it just feels wrong that they aren't even close to usable straight out the box. The supplied grease syringe does not contain enough grease and it is not re-fillable (I recommend a Calpol syringe carefully line up with the grease port...), and the bearings on one pedal were far too tight. With a bit of adjustment they are running well, but surely they should be supplied ready to use...

Grippy, but very heavy.
Seem well made. The ring around the main spindle for keeping dust out of the bearings is an odd idea/design, can't see it working well. And they are very heavy. However I bought them for grip, not to reduce the weight of the bike, I have some SPD pedals for that. And from a grip point of view they are excellent. Having now fitted them, I do however wish I had paid the extra and got the V12's. But for the price, they are excellent.

Sturdy, non slip, occasionally vicious.
Great pedals, usual high standard from DMR.You will have to try very hard to make your feet slip off these, use them while wearing shorts at your peril though, they've got a bite like an angry rottweiler.

garbage
as the other reviews have stated, this product comes unlubricated. there isn't enough lubricant supplied, nor is the lubricating syringe reusable without hacking the top off. There is a lot of messing round to just even start using these pedals and despite a tube and a half of lube per pedal (3 times the amount supplied) one still doesn't spin freely. There's far less hassle pedals out there for the money.

Good, but
Pedals are good but the problem is the grease syringe you get with them, you get one and it’s only half full so isn’t enough for even one pedal,I found some for sale at £2 each so your looking at another £8 to grease the bearings.why can’t they come pre greased or with a decent amount.
