Nice loom, but instructions for assembly are not clear
I like the loom, however, be aware that the instructions for setup are not easy to understand. Thankfully I am handy putting things together, but had a few issues figuring out what went where. Plus, the stand says to thread “the wire” and you are ready to go. There is no wire in the kit, and it doesn’t make sense unless you plan on letting the loom stand always. I will probably use string to keep the stand where I want it. Plus, putting the guide bar (aka heddle) and the dowel rod make no sense until you go to YouTube. I recommend purchasing a book on weaving since the kit does not tell you how to weave. For a beginner, it may be a bit frustrating trying to figure out how to use the loom.

Must have
I have been weaving for the better part of a decade, have very expensive and custom looms… i got this because i just wanted something i could work on between bigger projects and honestly it has become a staple for me. good spacing for the notches, i use all my looms without the legs so i can’t speak for that but i would recommend this to anyone wanting to try out weaving

Pretty good for beginners or weavers who want a quick warping loom.like
Liked warping ease and adaptability to finer yarns than original design. Sturdy and comfortable to weave. It's my beach loom that accommodates all sorts of beach treasures.

Not for tremblers!
I wanted to do some weaving now that I am no longer working. I discovered there are some disabilities that will do nothing but create frustration and disappointment! Between my new symptoms of trembling and spasticity; I do not think I will be successful with painting Ukrainian eggs either! maybe rag rugs😕

Easy enough for a novice to use
I have never done weaving before but wanted to give it a shot. The loom was easy to assemble, is sturdy, and I love that it's large enough to do real projects. It does not include instructions on how to weave, but there are so many online tutorials and videos that it really isn't necessary. I'm super happy with this purchase and have absolutely loved weaving! I still have some skill to learn (like how to not have my material turn into an hourglass shape), but that's totally on me and I'm looking forward to growing my skill level. Overall, it's been an easy, relaxing hobby to pick up that I've been able to destress and zen out while doing.

Good product, confusing directions
The loom seems to be constructed well. The instructions are very confusing because they change what the names of the parts are a couple times. For example they call the heddl. es teeth and then later gears. They call the crossbars rods. The instruction state to “enlarge the screw holes” when they mean to say use the larger of the two screw holes. So it’s a bit confusing, also what they call a spool is a headless stick. Hope this helps someone!

Confusing and incomplete instructions
Really bad instructions and possibly a missing piece. Fortunately, my husband is a wizard at this, but he had to use his own tools (and screws) because what was supplied was of poor quality. We have an extra piece we’re not sure what to do with. The directions show “wire” to hold the stand in place, but no wire.

Figuring out the use of the "spool"!
I just finished assembling and had to really look hard at the pictures! It seems very nice and I am anxious to begin my first weaving ever! The instructions don't tell what the spool is for but enlarging some pictures on the web site helped to figure it out! Place it so that the warp threads go into the groves so it can be turned to lift every other warp thread so the wept can easily go over and under the warped strings with a shuttle!
