KIWI design [Updated Version] Knuckle Strap for Quest 1/Rift S Touch Controller Grip Accessories with Replaceable Rubber Loops (1 Pair, Not Fit Quest 2)

This has been the best VR upgrade I have used so far. Having the controllers stay in your hand even after letting go of them feels like it should be stock and not an aftermarket.

Great buy and a needed add-on for those of us who play boxing games. Only drawback is adjusting the straps. That is why comfort gets 3 stars.

I used the standard straps for about a day or so because i wanted to try them. I ordered these along with my Quest as i noticed reviews and videos suggesting these. Allowing the controllers to sit freely in you hands increase the immersion and comfort due to the fact that while in game as you focus on something you forget you are holding them because you don't have to actually hold them. They just sit in your hands nicely.

These are really good in concept. I like the idea of having the controller strapped to your hand, instead of dangling at your wrist if you let go of them. The execution is not quite there though. I tried using them with my controllers for the Oculus Rift S. The suggested way to attach them was immediately problematic, as they would occasionally inadvertently press the 2 "menu" buttons for the controllers. The alternate way (around the sensor ring) felt too loose to be comfortable or secure. After using them for 3 days, I changed back to the default wrist straps.

These are a nice upgrade! Kiwi did a great job with the materials and design. They work better than the first version and appear that they will last longer. I really like the snap for the rubber ring. Now, I can just replace the rubber ring if it breaks, whereas if it broke on the previous version, it could not be replaced. They also provided extra rubber rings in the package. Thanks Kiwi!

When this is strapped around the back of your hand tight enough that it won't slip off, it tends to twist the controller backwards. This pushes your thumbs too high to reach the face buttons/stick, and pushes your index finger too low to reach the triggers. I would show you what I mean, but there doesn't seem to be an option for adding photos right now. If you look at some of the main images for this product, you can just tell that when they close their hand, their index fingers will not comfortably reach the triggers. I tried with the elastic band around the main grips and at different positions around the ring. I even tried having my index finger outside the strap as the seller recommended, but nothing felt right. I really wanted this to work, but unfortunately I'll have to return it.

My initial thought was to return these. They weren't comfortable at first, and I noticed how quickly they made my hands sweat. After giving them a 2nd try, I was able to find a position that is actually pretty comfortable, but still no cure for the sweating issue. The material feels like it's good quality, similar to the OEM wrist straps, but not stretchy in anyway.They're not perfect, but I've decided to keep them after all. Solid 4/5.
