You will need to silicone the handle into the black vacuum bulb. They insert a plug that falls out. When this occurs, get within a foot of the surface and it sucks air through the handle like a snorkel. This shuts down the operation by allowing air into the tube, which eliminates the suction from the filter pump. Siliconed up the end of the aluminum tube and siliconed handle into place. Problem solved.If using with a small filter pump, like the one that comes with a SW 10’ x 30”, make sure and ditch the vacuum head for the brush head. The smaller pump doesn’t have enough in it to run the vacuum head.Fill vacuum tube completely with water by inserting and holding one end up to the filter pump output, completely submerging the tubing. Connect up without allowing air in. I connect up with pump running.The vacuum is small, but effective at getting the junk out of the cracks and crevices. Keep your pump filter clean for maximum performance. Suction power depends on your pump, but more so water flow. This will plug your filter up faster as the bag only filters out the debris. All the other grimy stuff goes straight to your filter. Clean regularly to keep the flow. Before and after vacuuming is my routine. Don’t toss your filters. For me, a heckuva lot more than they offer in a C-store or general merchandise store.3 stars for engineering. Too many products today come from factory, less as less assembled. But when I have to use shop class ingenuity to finalize the product, I feel robbed.A college educated kid got his engineering paycheck while I paid $40 to finish their work for them. There was a time when pain fixed this problem.

I was going to return this cause I got my pool clear and the return fee I would have to pay and it was the price of the vac... but then rain storms kept pounding us and my water was gross... so I opened the box and pulled this contraption out and gave it a go.... and my oh my I was impressed.... and so addicted!!!! The suction was amazing and I got in the pool to use it and i love it.... for the $ .... i say it was well spent... I'm glad i decided to keep this new toy of mine... and I'm thinking 2 times a week just to keep the pool feeling amazing.... i do recommend back washing the filter before u continue with regular filtration!!!!

I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a vacuum for a $50 above ground pool. I thought I'd try this and I am pleasantly surprised how well it works! My pool had dirt on the bottom from a storm and this little vacuum got every bit of it up! It took me a few minutes to figure out how to work it, but after that it was a breeze! I've used it twice and have gotten the same results! A clean pool! I would definitely recommend this product!

In the past 2 years I’ve purchased 2 battery operated vacuums for my above ground pool and both have rusted to the point of being inoperable-one product was only a few months old and I took perfect care to maintain it but it still rusted up-so I decided to try this vacuum out and I LOVE IT!!! It’s a little more work than the battery operated ones, but at least I know it’s reliable and I won’t be throwing $100 per vacuum away.Something that may be helpful is when you use the vacuum be sure to fill the hose completely full of water before attaching it to the suction hook up from your pump-an easy way to do this is to put the hose near the return flow of the pump where the water is flowing out-fill up the hose with water and then quickly attach it to the suction part. Once I did this, the vacuum worked perfectly. Great product at a reasonable price.

This is my 3rd vacuum in the course of 3 years because I just could not find one with good suction…. This one actually does work! It doesn’t have the GREATEST suction ever, but for the price it does work better then the other 2 I’ve been through!! The bag that holds the debri is quite small so you do have to empty it quite often, but it’s super simple! Assembly is super easy as well! My pool is 15ft by 42 inches and would say this vacuum definitely works great for pools this size or smaller!

This is our second vacuum of this model. The first one lasted at least 5 years. It certainly pulls up some dirt off the bottom of our pool. The only complaint that I have is that I can't find replacement filters. Our original one would have kept going if I could buy individual replacement filters. This item relies on the power of your filter pump. Bottom line, I like it and think it will last another 5 years or more.

So I have an auto vacuum for the pool that struggles with the small stuff. Great for catching bug size and bigger but for dirt not so much. This vacuum is great for catching dirt but struggles against the bigger stuff. You don't feel the suction through the vacuum but when you are done you'll be surprised how much this picked up. It's also really easy to clean.

No good for cleaning my swim spa

Con una bomba normalita de Intex (de 2 m3 brutos/hora) es suficiente para ir quitando toda la roña del fondo, aunque con bastante paciencia (al igual que se necesita para piscinas grandes de obra y bombas potentes, es inherente a la limpieza de una piscina, no es lo mismo aspirar aire que agua) Eso sí, mejor quitar el filtro de cartucho para no sobrecargar la bomba y que aspire algo más, ya que lleva un filtro el aspirador.Los materiales son buenos y tiene accesorios suficientes.

Dudaba de la compra por las reseñas de otros compradores pero funciona muy bien teniendo en cuenta lo que es. Sirve para piscinas pequeñas y con depuradora de arena en mi caso funciona muy bien la succión. La piscina ha quedado limpia totalmente.No creo que funcione con depuradoras de filtro, creo que para esas depuradoras es mejor comprar otro tipo de aparato.Por otro lado es fácil de montar y de usar, lo único a tener en cuenta es que no puede haber aire en el aparato o en el tubo que pueda ir luego a la depuradora (hundir el aparato conectado a la manguera, hundir la manguera hasta que no tenga aire, y contactar a la boquilla de salida a la depuradora sin sacar la manguera del agua para que no coja aire. Así me ha funcionado perfecto.

Tengo una depuradora de 1250L/H. La verdad que para esta depuradora, va algo flojo, pero si aspira.Con una depuradora de 2000 L/H, seguro que va mejor.Poco a poco y con calma va aspirando el suelo.Es de fácil uso, y muy cómoda.Por eso la recomiendo.

En mi caso me falta una pieza para el skimmer para poder conectarlo en horizontal y no en vertical como traen las gre el adaptador.Tienes que sumergir completamente la manguera para que no entre aire y lo que hace es aprovechar el flujo que genera tu depuradora para filtrar las porquerias en un deposito/filtro muy cutre que trae.Un producto construido totalmente en plastico y funciona regular.
