Keeps coffee fresh and is super easy to use. Does require both hands to open/close. Not sure it's completely air tight but pretty close.

I like extremely strong fresh coffee. I tried it by just dumping grounds out into the container. It was okay. So now I just keep the whole entire bag of coffee in the container. It worked! Like you just opened up a new bag. It’s an extra step in the morning to pull the lid off and unroll the bag, but it’s worth it.

The vacuum created inside the container when attempting to remove the lid without pressing the valve button holds the lid in place, but the container is not "vacuum-sealed" in such that the air is removed via a pump or other artificial means.When a description indicates that something is "vacuum sealed," I imagine something like a space-saver bag or Food Saver-type apparatus where the air is actively pulled/removed from the container with a vacuum device. This container does not do this, but rather the excess air volume between the lid and the container escapes via a valve as you press it and close the tight-fitting lid. Basically, it is just as vacuum-sealed as a freezer bag from which you've squeezed the excess air before zipping it closed. When one attempts to remove the lid without first depressing the button for the valve, the lid stays in place due to the very low tolerance between inner surface of the lid and outer surface of the container.Apart from the semantics and my taking exception to the accuracy of the description, it does its job as a food container. I do use it for whole-bean coffee storage. I drink the coffee that I place in it within a couple of weeks, so I cannot attest to the long-term effectiveness of maintaining coffee freshness. It cleans up easily, is lightweight, and stores away nicely. As others have mentioned, the sticker on the top is stubborn to remove. It wouldn't take much to use an adhesive that is more friendly to remove.I rated the product 4 stars primarily because I feel like the description of it is misrepresented or misleading.

I buy bigger bags of cat food so these work perfectly. The life has cracked but I've had it now for years and just used some duct tape. Still seals nice.

Nothing much to say. This is a simple and effective option for coffee storage. I recommend and I would buy again if I need an extra one!

These work so well. You can hear the air leaving when they’re closed. Very lightweight, as well. I’ve bought 4 of these.

We buy Costa Rica coffee from a local place and have them grind it to perfection for pour over method. It is now our favourite method after owning several machines, including Nespresso, Bosch etc... This vacuum container keeps our ground coffee fresh for a whole week! A simple wipe down of the inside lid and outside container will make pushing the lid down smoothly. Been using it for 3 months and it is still working good. Although a little pricey for a plastic container, it is one of my favourite purchases. Would purchase again if need be. If you appreciate good fresh coffee, I highly recommend this storage container.

I love the fact that it’s vacuum sealed. It’s also very good qualitymaterial and beautiful enough to be left out on the counter.

I love coffee, but I'm in the minority in my house, so I had to do something about the smelly beans and this handy little container solved it. Owned it for just over a month and it does exactly what I hoped. Keeps the beans fresh and holds the smell in. Thinking of buying another, so I can buy some decaf to go with the full fat coffee.

It seems to work well, always get a strong smells of coffee when I open it, using my old container then smell fades much sooner

These are simple the best storage air tight jars to have! Busy building up my collection! A must must have!
